The high-ranking officials had their jaw dropped with their eyes widening. They stared at each other and shook their heads. Rejecting the notion of what their commander says.

Thomas disregarded their stupefied dazed and continued talking.
"What is the point of you sacrificing your life when your legacy won't be continued or remembered."
"Don't you think that's insanity? If Sir Sky Lagama did not return also. What would have been the outcome of the war? Who can tell me?"
With the continuous explanations of Thomas, the people in the meeting room were starting to get to the point their commander was driving at. Nevertheless, they weren't convinced. They gave Thomas a questioning look. However, they kept quiet and they couldn't answer his question.
