Maya was dumbfounded, she opened her mouth but words couldn't come out of her mouth. She stares at the young man in front of her not expecting his compliment. Everyone knows that Thomas was exceedingly arrogant and barely does he talk to anyone. Maya receiving a compliment from Thomas was like a heaven mandate.
Thomas looked at the stupefied lady casually. He understood what was going on in her mind. However, he never cares, and he had a good impression of her.
"Is it because you like me that you challenge me?" Thomas questioned.
Thomas's question drifted inside her ears, she blinked a few times before she regained her focus.
Shaking her head. "No, I just want to teach you some lesson for embarrassing me during the ranking battle. I never know you are this strong. And when you asked if I like you, I found it difficult to say no."
Thomas nodded.
"I can't say I like you yet…." Thomas looked at her face and Maya avoided his gaze, blushing.
