Rose glared at her husband. "Patrick you dare" she narrowed her eyes, looking at him straight in the eyes.
Realizing the dangerous look on his wife's face, he panicked. Quickly, his expression changed into a radiant smile.
" You know I'm kidding! I love my son more than my own life, you know that. Don't you?" Patrick hugged her wife, caressing her hand lovingly.
Patrick looked dejected, he dare not say something that will annoy her unless he wanted to sleep on the floor tonight.
listening to her husband, her expression changed in an instant. Back to being a loving and caring wife.
Seeing her expression returned to normal, Patrick sighed.
Watching their drama, Thomas "chuckled" and smiled.
Noticing that the atmosphere was backs to normal. She had a gorgeous smile on her beautiful lips saying, "You broke through to the peak of bodybuilding stage 7 four months ago, so, we are not expecting any breakthrough anytime soon."
The harmonious smile on her face makes her look more intoxicating.
Anyone seeing her face will know she is excited. 'My son is a genius' she thought.
Rose came from a lower family, she never imagined she would marry into a noble family. The Hunter's for real!
She came across Patrick in the imperial City, when she followed his father for a business trip.

" I broke through to the early essence building realm yesterday," he said with a calmed face.
"You did what!" they both asked.
Their mouths were wide open with amazement. They look at each other, realizing the shock on each other's faces.
They tried to calm down. But they couldn't. They looked at him, seeing a monster.
Having broken through to stage 7 four months ago took them by surprise. Crossed from the intermediate stage to the peak stage was hard as ascending heaven.
Yet, it was not difficult for him. However, crossing from the peak of bodybuilding realm state 7 to the early essence building realm stage 1 in four months is never heard or seen.
At his age, he should be in body-building stage 4 if he's talented.
They looked at each other and sighed. They are yet to accept it being a walking encyclopaedia and now, he was a cultivation genius. Patrick was in intermediate essence building realm stage 6, while Rose was in early essence building realm stage 3.
Their son was not even 16, yet, he was already in the same realm with them. They felt jealous of their son's potential. Nevertheless, he's their son. They felt extremely gratified.
"We are happy for you, but you still need to go to the academy. You are yet to visit the outside world. I know that at your age you don't have an opponent, talkless in the same realm. You are still young there is a lot of things to learn and experience"
his father said solemnly.
Thomas looked dejected. Discerning the look on his face, his mother said.
"We are not scared of you being injured or killed. With your knowledge and temperament, you won't do something stupid. But I pity those who are yet to know you"
Thomas smiled when he heard what his mother said.
" We are Hunter's, we hunt the prey. We never allow anybody to trample on us. We may be peaceful and never struggle for power that doesn't mean we are coward. Those fools, trying to step up on my son 'hmm' they are pathetic" his father said, raising his shoulder high.
The proudness in his father's voice makes him elated.
'I'm the Hunter, I hunt the prey,' he thought.
Realizing the air around Thomas changes slightly. They could only smile, knowing that his mentality undergoes some change.
'That's their son' they both thought.
" You are a dragon among men, spread your wings and fly into the sky. This small empire is too small for you. We Hunter's, conquer, we dominate, we reign anywhere we are. That's who we are. it's in our blood. We are proud, never submissive. Show them the Hunter's. Let them be terrified when they heard the name, Hunter."
His father stood up authoritatively with pride while pumping his chest forward, also beating his chest repeatedly with his right hand
Rose and Thomas were shocked, raising their brow. They had never seen him behave like this before.
They both laughed, while his father sat down.
"You heard what your father says, you have our full support. By tomorrow morning you shall leave for the academy" his mother said.
Filled with joy, Thomas stood up and hugged both his parents.
"Thank you, I'm happy to have you both as my parents," he said.
"We are grateful to have you, son," his father said.
His mother ruffled his hair playfully and said
"Go prepare for tomorrow" while she gave him a rank 2 storage ring.
Thomas took the ring, nodding, and walked out with a pleasing smile all over his face. Seeing Thomas gone, Rose had tiny tears at the edge of her eyes. Her smile had all gone, turning into worry and panic.
Witnessing this, Patrick hugged her and caressed her chicks
"Don't worry he will be safe" he said with a calmed voice, though, he was dejected. He tried to hide from his wife.
she nodded absentmindedly.
