. . .
"Say Mr. Fitzgerald," the lady said, "Did you even like Miss Lin in a romantic way? Or did you just see her as a sibling or a great friend?"
This lady turned out to be none other than Dorothy, Zeirenne's loyal secretary. She was on that Bay Walk with Four Fitzgerald. Both of them planned on visiting Zeirenne but were thinking twice on interrupting 'some things' so they both headed for the Bay Walk instead. Fortunately for them, they both saw their subject for today--jogging by the bay with a huge smile on her face.
"Why are you asking me that?" Four asked her, "Did my intentions seem unclear to you? If I tell you I liked her as a girl... how would that change things?"
"I don't know," Dorothy shrugged her shoulders. "I mean... if you like her as a woman then we should probably get going now. There's no way you should be watching the girl you like spending the time of her life with the guy he likes. That's ridiculous you know."
