I could hear his deep breaths and I could feel his breath running through every strand of my hair. It was an unsettling feeling for me because I was feeling it to the roots of my hair and it was not a feeling I was used to. In general, the feeling I was used to was either his hatred of me or his anger towards everything and everyone. It was weird that he calmly buried his face in my hair and tried to sleep. I never thought he could be this close to me, but now I was in his arms. He pulled me tight and held me tight as if I could run away.
