When we finally got to the hotel, I barely held myself to kiss the ground I had stepped on. I had decided to stay away from Hiraeth, and although I felt he was watching me, I wasn't looking at his face at all. He was taking over me and making me do things I shouldn't have done. I had to remember the fact that my heart would fall to pieces one day if I didn't stay away from him.
The hotel where we were staying for a few days was very close to the icy lake and there was nothing near the hotel. We were in the middle of nowhere, intertwined with nature, and the possibility of wild animals was very high here. We had to be cautious when we were out or we were likely to be prey to any wild animal.
