When I opened my eyes, all I saw was a white ceiling. I hated ceilings now too.
"You finally woke up." Hiraeth sighed deeply.
"I wouldn't be awake," I said, standing up. We were in a place like an infirmary. It was nonsense to even have an infirmary in this huge place. It means that demons were not left to die.
I looked at the man in the white dresses who came in. He had no horns. He looked like a normal person. Maybe he was hiding like everyone else here. You cannot hide. They find.
"I don't know how you did this," he said excitedly. "But since you can do this, you must be very capable."
"Just a minute," I said, holding up my hand and waving it. "When was wanting to die considered a talent?"
