As the sun rose, along with the citizens of Amaris, Emma finally awoke, her face the deepest shade of red, and her whole body killing her.
"What did we just do?" Emma asked herself as she recalled the events last night.
"We've dated for less than three months, how could I have possibly let this happen?" Emma asked herself, as her mind was in shambles.
What had she done? And why had she done it? What about taking it all slow?
She looked over at her sleeping boyfriend, kissing him on the forehead before she snuck out of bed, fully clothed, as she slowly made it over to her room, where someone was already waiting for them.
"Emma," someone called.
Emma yelped, surprised by the sudden noise.
She turned around, her eyes closed as she tried to have a calm poker face, only to see her best friend waiting for her, seated.
"Hi Lily," she greeted.
