Emma's heart dropped.
If killing her parents, kidnapping her and mugging her wasn't enough, he'd just admitted to her face that he was responsible for poisoning Lily.
James' eyes widened as the words came out of Julius' mouth as he wrapped a hand protectively around Emma's waist.
Emma was still in a state of shock. As if what he had done wasn't enough. He wanted to kill Lily. And he came close, had Lily not been found. Just the thought of it scared her to her very core.
It was no use talking to someone that was too far down the path of evil.
Emma scoffed, tears welling up in the corner of her eyes.
"Do you have nothing to say for yourself?" She demanded, her voice so loud James flinched.
He wanted to tell her to calm down but it wouldn't do him any good.
"Seriously?" She asked.
The urge to strangle him increased as she glared at Julius, infuriated, enraged and highly irritated.
