Austin's voice carried a deep sense of authority as he spoke. "The lightning seed has no limit," he said, his eyes gleaming with the weight of the knowledge he was sharing. "It will grow along with you, amplifying your purple lightning's destructive potential and making it even more powerful as you advance."
I felt a surge of excitement ripple through me at his words. The thought of wielding such power, of having something that could evolve as I did, was thrilling. "You can easily fight across ranks," he added, his tone confident, as if this was a foregone conclusion.
A question had been gnawing at the back of my mind, though. The lightning seed was clearly an extraordinary gift, but I wondered if there was a strategy to using it something that might affect my future potential. "Master," I asked thoughtfully, "should I use it now or after receiving my inheritance?"
