Hearing that, Ed Conrad shuddered. He was not naive. He knew the dangers of the battle zone. It's a place where they fight against foreign creatures of unknown origin.
Normally, disciple-status warriors were not sent there unless there was a dire situation. As far as he knew, there was no such case. He hadn't heard any rumors regarding that.
