I can't believe this. Even though this is a book for children and it's supposed to be something well-mannered, it still has characters in it who are opportunistic in a bad way.
Can you even imagine that Matilda still has the guts to take this magical lamb's poop just for the gold?! Unbelievable.
"I apologize for being such a nuisance for the two of you." The Lamb says.
"I can't even imagine that Mary's already gone. Now it is clear to me why did she leave me." Lamb continued.
Mary did that to save the Lamb from the opportunistic Matilda.
"I knew it from the start why she has to make me lost my way but still, I've looked for her."
I somehow felt sorry for this little magical lamb.
"You're with us from now on. The important thing is, you are now safe from Matilda." I said.
It was quite a while since silence has shrewd us. Until my tummy soundly grumbled because of hunger. It's noon already and we haven't eaten yet.
"You're hungry aren't you? You may eat the food that Bo Beep gave us." Samuel said.
"I've eaten them already." I slyly replied. Forget I said we haven't eaten yet earlier. Because I have eaten all of the food that Bo Beep gave us.
"Since when did you eat them?!"
"I ate them while I was waiting for you to come back from getting your materials to fix this cart. I was hungry so I ate them."
"Unbelievable. That's too much for an appetite. What kind of stomach do you have?!"
"A stomach like you have as well."
"Ugh! Nevermind. We're arriving soon at the Kingdom of Eggdanar."
I chose to keep quiet after.
I have nothing else to do the whole time but to stare at nothingness. All I can do was just to breathe and to wait until we arrive at the Kingdom of Eggdanar that Samuel says.
It made me think that was a place for eggs.
I took a nap instead since it's going to take time before we arrive at the Kingdom of Eggdanar.
"If we ever happened to find that necklace, will you choose to stay here?" A man asking me.
I'm dreaming once again. Ever since I was trapped here, dreams kept on appearing abnormally. Just like what I was dreaming of right now.
Who is this man? He's talking to me but he's not facing me.
"Whatever your choice is, I'll be happy with it. I'll be happy for you."
He finally turned around to face me but my vision's getting blurry. Am I crying?
Little by little, he inched his face towards me. And he kissed me.
A light started forming between us and...
"You must not climb up there, your majesty! You might get hurt!"
I was awakened because of the voices yelling.
A lot of people were gathering near a wall yelling and talking indistinctively. They were talking about an egg sitting on the wall.
Wait for what? That egg has a face. Eyes, brows, nose, mouth, and teeth as well. It was also wearing clothes from a royal family.
Since I was hungry, it made me feel like I wanna eat a boiled egg right now. I want to cook that egg.
It took time to make me realize that it was Humpty. The egg sat on the wall and fell on the ground.
Seems like the nursery rhyme's been happening now. Humpty went off his balance. He tried to gain his balance back but his ovular body shape failed him. He fell from the wall while people who gathered around were screaming because of nervousness.
Where did Samuel go? He went missing all of a sudden.
I took my attention back to the egg. Humpty must've felt on the ground because that's what the rhyme says.
I went off the cart to take a look at the commotion happening. I pushed them sideward so I can see what happened to Humpty.
Luckily, Humpty was safe because Samuel rescued him. Samuel was carrying Humpty on his arms. Samuel has unbelievable speed.
Humpty's crying right now. He's happy because he is safe. It made me want to hit Humpty because of his foolishness.
He did something that could put him into danger and now he's happy because he is safe?! Damn.
A lesson. If you did something foolish, then you must take it as a learning lesson so you may not do it again!
Horses and knights came. We're probably in the Kingdom of Eggdanar because of these horses and knights.
"Thank you so much, mister! Thank you for saving my life. As my gratitude for you, I am personally inviting you to take your day in the palace." Humpty said.
"Thank you so much for the kindness you're offering. But I have two other companions with me. May I have them invited as well?" Samuel asked.
"Of course! They are welcome too. Come with us to the palace."
We took our cart inside the gate while Samuel is guiding Xerneos.
Wow! The place was overwhelmingly huge and beautiful. It has a kind of Medieval Era look for me. This kingdom is probably rich.
While on our way, Humpty started to ask questions like, what are we, where we're going, what we're looking for, and why do we need that. Well, if you would ask me, I need that for me to go home already.
We went straight to the palace. Knights and guards are on their position. They were enormous in number. Can you imagine how many Knights and guards they have? From what I knew, I saw them since Samuel came to rescue Humpty.
If I'm not mistaken, our company's on the way to the throne room.
Stories about Humpty said that he is a king. But his crown was silver and not gold but filled with diamonds and rubies. It was just my assumption that a gold crown was for kings and queens. Plus, he's too young to be a king.
Knights opened the metal door. The noise was screeching along the hallway. This is probably a door for giants. If you would stack up numbers of Samuel, I think it may take 20 to reach the measure of this door.
The King and Queen sitting on their throne with their backs comfortably leaned on. They were all eggs. And that should make sense since Humpty is an egg.
"Greetings, your majesty! I would like to introduce some guests, adventurers from the lands of the north. They saved me from falling out from the wall." Humpty said while kneeling in front of them. Samuel and the lamb did as well. They did some praise giving, so did I.
I simply looked at the queen. She is so beautiful even though she's an egg. As she stares at us, I can hear her saying "Bow down bitches!" as Beyoncé does.
"Get them ready for a meal and serve them the way you serve us." Knights and servants immediately went inside the room and carried us.
The first thing we did is to take a bath.
This place is so great! Hot spring is so relaxing and it takes out all of the fatigue I had for the whole day.
I remembered what the fairy had said. She said that this is a great punishment for me and yet here I am taking a bath and makes myself relaxed.
I don't even want to fuss about this punishment thing. She might take it back and I might not experience this relaxation.
I have noticed just now that Samuel and the lamb aren't here. Where they could be? Took a bath on another hot spring I guess.
*splash*
I was shocked within a moment because the lamb I'm talking about just jumped right in this hot spring and hot water just splashed on my face.
"Ugh! Damn it! This isn't a pool lamb! You can't do a cannonball in here!" I said.
"I'm sorry. I was just excited because I haven't taken a bath for a week now. I miss taking a bath with Mary and I wish I could do it again with her." The lamb said. Sadness embraced me. It made me feel this lamb's sadness.
"You both seem to be happy huh?" Samuel said.
I looked back and...
"Aaaaahhh! Why the hell are you naked! It made me feel like your dick just talked to me instead of you!" I yelled. That damn big thing!
"Well, am I supposed to dress up if I'm going to take a bath? Besides, we are both men, aren't we? You have this also." Samuel said.
"Fine! Just shut up and take a bath already! Hide that huge thing away from my sight!"
