It was odd, to say the least. At first, she was nothing but a soul he was in charge of watching over personally because she was the perfect example of a soul in need. A soul who was 'worthy' of going back in time to change her dreadful fate. She wasn't special to him, she wasn't special to anyone actually. She was just another human muddling their way through life. She was generous, brave, and gentle-hearted.
But she was too kind, which was her downfall in her first life. He wasn't surprised by this. In his opinion, she deserved it. She gave away her everything so foolishly to a man who obviously did not love her or think much of her at all. Though she was stupidly foolish, he still had to admit that she fits the category of a "Wronged Soul" perfectly.
