Chapter 21: Hybrids

Third PERSON'S POV

Amara is sitting at the table in the kitchen. She just recently finished making her brewed coffee. She repeatedly stirred it while her mind is on deep thinking.
"How are those men, already? Had they successfully bought those weapons that can help us? " She speaks while looking at her coffee. Like, it can talk just to answer her questions. It's 1:00 in the morning. Two hours had passed since they left the Hotel.
She felt uncomfortable lately, her heart pounding so fast. As if, there is a bad thing to happen. It's her fifth cup of coffee. She could not sleep, her mind was clouded with thoughts and questions. Then, she's watching Cesia from time to time. It's been five days since they left in her Guardian's house. And it happens so fast and blurry to her, that there is something wrong happened since that day.
She assumes there is a reason why Cesia left unconscious for days. That's another problem to find out. She didn't even bother to say it to Trevor or his two cousins. They are busy finding information about her identity. Suddenly, her deep thinking got disturbed by the noise inside Cesia's room.
She quickly stands up and runs towards the door. Joy was visible on her face.
"She wakes up! Cesia's awake, Thank God. " she can't wait to hug her tight. She misses her that much.

"Wake up... Cesia... " Cesia heard an angelic voice, calling her to wake up. She can't process, why this voice keeps calling on her. What are the reasons why she heard voices from her deep slumber.
"Wake up... " Again, her voice gave a soothing feeling in her heart and mind. It gives her hope to wake up.
She thought no one can feel her, she suffered and unable to open her eyes. Her body didn't cooperate with her mind. She doesn't know how many days, she asked for help. She wants to shout, but, none of them notice. She can't even move her body and the darkness enveloped her, stopping to wake her up.
'What happened to me? ' She has no idea, what are the reasons, her mind was troubled looking for her escape in the darkness.
"You're trapped in the Darkness, Cesia." The angelic voice of Woman answered her.
'Darkness?' Cesia is unable to believe. There is one person, she knows who uses darkness or should she say literally, the darkness itself. But, she doesn't want to think that kind of accusement in her mind. She knows, he can't do it to her. Their last meeting is one of her memorable days in her life.
"It's not what and whom you think. Cesia" she answered.
'Whom?' she asked. She knows that the woman she talking to can hear her thoughts.
"I'm not in the position, to tell you who did it. Besides, I should not tamper with your destiny. Or even in these Worlds. I'm only here, to help you wake up. " the angelic voice gently explained.
Her mind is in hysterics. She heard it, right. Her destiny? So, her destiny was written already what may happen? She remembered, Zia.
'Zia? ' she called Zia, but none answered. Since she's trapped in her, she didn't hear Zia talking to her thoughts.
"She can't answer you, now. She was trapped also and the thing you can help her is to wake up. " Again, Cesia can't absorb all the information the angelic voice said.
'She? Who are you? Why are you helping me? ' she asked. She wants to know, whom her talking to. She had this comfortable feeling towards her.
"It's not the time to tell you Who I am. I already, give you a lot of information. My time here was limited. Any minute or seconds I'd be gone. " The angelic voice denies her questions.
"Wake up... Dear... Your friends are waiting for you. I have to go, my time is done. I'll see you soon. " The angelic voice gives her goodbyes. And a sudden light vanishes the darkness on Cesia's slumber.
'Hey. Wait! ' she wants to shout until her eyes are now slowly opening up. She murmurs those words till she came back again to reality.
"Wait! Wait.. " she gasped with heavy breathing. Sweat all over her face. She slowly went around her blurry gaze until it was cleared with a luxurious room.
"I'm back again... " she speaks, after that the door opens. There she saw Amara crying and running to her bed ready for a hug.
"Cesiaaa! Your back! "

"Show yourselves...Outrageous Guests" The man with a bearded face, coldly speaks. He was very angry after they were fooled. All their Special Foods were gone and nowhere to be found. Meant by special food Was the Mortals.
"Hmm. The Alpha" Trevor grinned and showed in their front. They no longer hide because they can feel their presence here.
The enemies automatically alerted. There are more than twenty of them inside.
"Who are you? How dare you meddle with our business here? " The Alpha was clenching his fist. Gritted his teeth. His Gray eyes darkened with a flickering golden ring in his eyes.
"Hm. Sorry? Your business interests me most? Hm. What are they for you? Foods? " Trevor sarcastically speaks to the Alpha, he was just relaxed, not minding whom he talked with.
Aries and Aivan were tensed a little. Something is not right with these persons or should they say monsters. They were not ordinary ones. And that's what they need to know. Who are these monsters and Why they're lurking in the Mortal World?
"Hahaha. " The alpha evilly laughs. He continued giving them a death glare.
"I guess you already know, we're different. We're not humans! And for the three of you, you're not humans, I smelled your blood. It's very special. I'm getting more excited. Instead of having Humans as our food. Why not, these Special Guests we have. Right, αγέλη(agelh)? " He mockingly said, while giving suggestion to his pack or what he called αγέλη. His αγέλη nodded with excitement and lick their almost drooling saliva's.
"Why are you here in the Mortal Realm? What's your purpose for being here? Where are the Humans who handled the powerful weapons and what kind of creatures are you, you're not werewolves? " Aivan's successive question to the Alpha. He wants an answer and A monster like they aren't allowed to meddle with the mortals. It's forbidden, yet they make them as food.
"Oh? Relax, Young Man, Hm. You'll die soon. Why not give you an answer to your questions." He sits in the center stage where his companion gives him a golden seat, for their Alpha. He crossed his legs and signed one of his pack a glass of wine.
"To tell you frankly, We are here to conquer the Mortal World. We will make them food as well. We have no specific territory that will make us mine. We are prisoners, on the depths of Tartania. Sadly, their barrier breaks and luck are within us, the portal opens and we enter into it that leads us here in this World." The alpha said while grinning sipping the glass of wine.
Aries and Aivan frowned, The alpha mentioned Tartania. We're powerful evil creatures being imprisoned. No one must open and break the barrier. And with his information, someone breaks it and those someone had something to freed out in that place. And by opening the portal, some creatures or maybe all evil creatures have been already out in Tartania.
'These are a Big problem ' Arie's thought
'Trevor's father! The king of darkness. Oh Goddammit. Shit! Shit! ' Aivan cursed in his mind. Trevor's father was locked on Tartania. He looks at Trevor, but he didn't give any emotion.
"We found ourselves in this Hall months ago. And as we are very hungry, our food has already dined in front of us. And those humans, are the owner of these Buildings. And the weapons, they were in a safe place. See that painting? That was my creation, my created world for us." The alpha keeps on smirking. With his dark aura, he is determined to conquer the world.
"And for your question, What kind of creatures, are we? " He raises his brow and laughs evilly.
"You don't know whom you mess with. " He speaks with venom and slowly his hand changed into sharp claws. His eyes are now gold showing also his canine teeth, sharp and long fangs.
Aries and Aivan got alerted and ready themselves. All these monsters inside are transforming.
"Likewise, Alpha. " Trevor dangerously sent death glares to the Alpha. In a quick stance, all of them transformed into a wild creature, a powerful and legendary one.
Their body changes like a Lion's body, but taller and bigger. They have wings, a dragon's wing for the alpha and bat wings to his αγέλη. Their heads remain human and the dangerous part of their body is their venomous tail of a scorpion.
'F*cking Shit! 'Aries's thought.
"Hybrids!" Aries and Aivan chorused.
"An ugly Hybrids, Yuck! You're kidding me? Did it exist? " Aries mumbled preparing themselves for a stance to fight.
"Yes. The legendary one. Manticore. " Trevor blankly answered.
"Don't look in their eyes! " Trevor shouts, but he was too late Aries knocked down quickly. Earlier by describing them, he looked directly into the Alpha's eyes.
"Shit! What happened? " Aivan frustratingly said.
"Can't you see? He's been knocked out without giving a fight. Don't look in their eyes. They might devour you. That's why they got Aries. Let's fight these Ugly Creatures. Don't let them get, Aries body. " Trevor ready his stance and reserved his energy. Aivan cursed and nodded to his suggestion. They were trapped inside.
"Hahaha. You can't get away from us, weaklings! " The Alpha Monstrously speaks.
Manticore's a Persian Manticore similar to a Greek Chimera and Egyptian Sphinx. But, these monsters are strong. A legendary creature called "Hybrids" because of their mixed look. They can devour humans that's why it is easy for them to make them a buffet. They can devour different creatures too, but manticores are known for their strength and devouring. They were known for their lack of wits. They are not intelligent, they didn't plan their action first. Only, in their minds is to devour, eat, and conquer.
The Manticore's attack Trevor and Aivan, whose guarding the body of Aries. Two-hybrid are in front of Aivan and three in front of Trevor. They recklessly attack the two Princes looking for a chance to inject their poisonous tail. They were strong, but Aivan and Trevor can level their strengths and faster than them.
Aivan uses his Venomous Demon Sword, the powerful weapon of the Demon Hunter. It has a blaze of green venom that lights up when he swayed his sword. With fast reflexes, he uses his force to cut the head of his opponent. He rolled on the floor and almost got hit by its tail, he avoided it and automatically stands up jumping higher with his force, cutting the Manticore's body in a half. Their companion as long as the Alpha growled.
'Two hybrids down. '
Trevor on the other side didn't use any weapons. He uses his strength and power. One Manticore attacks him on his back, the other one on his side, and the third one on his front. They attacked together, but before they can hit Trevor they were blown out. Trevor uses his black fire, made it into a medium Ball. Before they could attack him, he releases it, where he was located, and quickly summoned the wind to travel him out of away from the black fire. The black fire blew out and three Manticore's burn and turn into ashes.
"Five Down. " Trevor speaks. And the two of them smirked. The alpha got angered and order all his pack to capture them.
"Get them! " Alpha shouted.
"We must evade them. They were slow in terms of thinking. We must stick to our plans" Trevor said. Aivan nodded with a bit hesitant. They can't tell if it works and he hopes it will.
Manticore's attacked them and with their immeasurable strengths and aggressive moves, Aivan and Trevor have been hit and knocked down which leads to their visions of black, lying on the floor unconscious.
"Bring them in My World. " The Alpha order his αγέλη and laugh evilly. He was happy he captured powerful Beings.
