When we woke up his mom was telling us to come have breakfast. We went down in sweat pants and t shirts. His cousins were there along with his aunt and uncle.
"Oh my goodness Parker, you have a friend." His aunt said coming over to us.
"Hi I'm Spencer." I told her. She was smiling.
She had two sons and two daughters. The girls were 9 and 12, I would find out later from Parker, the boys were 14 and 17.
Heather, Hannah, Hank, and Henry in order.
Henry, who was the oldest, kept looking at me. He was seated across from me while we were eating.
We had a nice breakfast. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, biscuits, grits, and toast. It was amazing, my family would never have all this.
That day we were supposed to go snowboarding. I had to learn because I had never been before. Parker taught me and by the end of the day I was able to stay on the board all the way down the hill.
When we got back to the cabin Henry started flirting with me.
"Hey Spence how are you?" He said putting his finger under my chin. Parker was in the shower so he wasn't around.
"Fine." I said trying to pull away.
"So you sleep in bed with Parker eh? Is he nice in bed?"
"What are you talking about Henry? Parker isn't into me like that."
"Are you into him?" He asks putting our noses against each other even though I try to pull away.
"Let me go."
Right after I said that Parker grabs his cousin by the back of his shirt pulling him away from me. He puts himself between us. "Are you alright?" He asks me.
"Yeah. I'm ok." I grab the back of his shirt.
"Don't touch him. Ever. Do you understand Henry?"
He was smiling. "So you two are together then?"
"We aren't together. I'm not gay. You know that." As he said this I let go of his shirt.
"I'm going to bed." I started walking away as he tried to grab my hand.
"Pretty boy you know what I mean." I pull away from him and Henry says "you know since he isn't going to be with you you can always come sleep with me." He laughed but I was pretty sure he was serious.
I didn't care I went to my bed and laid down falling asleep. I woke up later with his arms around me in the middle of the bed. I pulled away and moved back to th edge of the bed.
"Spencer I'm sorry." He whispered to me.
"Why are you sorry Parker? You were just being honest. You are not gay. As much as I like you. You're not gay and I'm not going to force myself on you. The kisses were just because we were friends. Nothing more. Goodnight."
I heard him get up and walk out of the room. I feel back asleep soon after.
He had already went down when I woke up for breakfast. He was next to me but didn't say a word. When we went to snowboard he and I went together but he still didn't talk to me more than a few simple words.
After that we went back and Henry started talking to me. "Look I'm sorry for yesterday. We should try to be friends. I think you are really cute." We were just sitting on the couch.
"Why do you want to talk?"
"Because I'm not as selfish as my cousin. He cares about you but he won't admit it. So why not talk to someone who is already out of the closet and won't care if people know we are talking?" He looked embarrassed to even have to ask. "I'm not really someone who chases after guys usually but I think you are very attractive and sweet you seem funny and smart. Just give me a chance. Yeah?"
I nod. "Sure we can be friends and talk." All of his siblings and Parker were outside looking at the snow.
"Do you want to go look at the snow?" He asked rubbing my cheek. I nod.
We went outside and looked at the snow after putting on our jackets. It was beautiful all of the cousins and Parker were playing in it. I was shaking so Henry wrapped his arms around me.
Parker came over and pulled me away. "Didn't I tell you not to touch him?" He asks glaring at his cousin.
"It's not your place anymore Parker. Spencer doesn't care if I hold him. Right?"
I nod as I pulled away from Parker. He stares at me. He looks hurt not physical pain but emotional.
"You aren't gay remember cousin?" Henry says to him.
Parker scoffs and nods as he walks inside. I see him when I get into bed but I can't say anything to him. I fall into bed and fall asleep.
