Chapter 1 - chapter 1

I am not quite sure about my own existence but that thing can wait considering that I have another major task at hand which is more important than the existence of a single human being. And that is to find Him.

To find a single person between mass of extraterrestrial beings with purple skins is quite hard considering that they are ready to wipe out your entire existence if they saw you. But that person is quite different. He is the destined savior of the species homo sapiens.

To say that its impossible to find a person on the three planets and various capsule cities floating in the space with external environments is an understatement for a normal person but it is my birth mission to track that person down and make him realize that is the only one who could save us from our extinction.

I don't know what has kept him down that till now he hadn't realized that its his duty to save us and that too can't be possible without our help.

I got myself a hood that covered my entire skin so that it won't be easy for the organization to track me down. And I am well aware about where he is now.

I entered an over crowded club in the head capsule city, Xander. There was hardly any space with the purple bodies fully packing the space and enjoying themselves.

The club was located on the edge of a cliff which gave you a perfect view of the night sky. And there he was, standing a corner and puffing a cigarette and watch the smoke eventually fade away.

I pushed my way through the crowd until I am there in the dark corner with him. He hands me a cigarette which I light up immediately and blow a puff.

"I hope that you aren't bored from stalking me 24/7 in the past few months, though I would never know the reason behind this."

"You are well aware of the reason Hayden; you just don't want to admit it. And you well know that we don't have much time left before things fall apart completely.

I know you are confused about all this happening and you being the chosen one but I have all the answers you need to know to settle down your curiosity. I know everything about you, maybe more than what you yourself know about you."

"And that is the reason I don't always associate with anyone. You know more than me and that is what I fear because it isn't important that the person who knows about you is necessarily your friend or the one who helps you, even enemies know everything about each other."

"What do I need to do in order to prove that I am not one of your enemies? I am willing to do everything that you will ask me to do."

"Are you sure about what you had just claimed? No words taken back?"

"None and surer than anyone could ever have been."

"I will wait for you in the city, Nova at the same club where you first found me. It's my first time trusting someone. Seven days is all you have to get to that city without getting caught or leaving a trail behind. I will wait for you."

With that he turned around and disappeared in the crowd. I knew the reason why he didn't trust me very well. And that is because I am a human. And that is nothing wrong considering that he is also one but it was the humans only who helped these creatures in successful colonization of the planet we once called home. They were the very same humans who are now tortured in labs because even these creatures don't trust them. If they betrayed their own kind that how are they expected to stay loyal to others who are not the same as they are.

Humans are more intelligent than these colonizers but their selfish nature was the thing that led to their destruction from their very own hands. Now their intelligence is extracted in those laboratories and used against their own kinds. And that is what they deserve for their selfish nature.

They have always been the one who care about themselves more than anything else would and no matter how many times they went on the verge of destruction from their selfish nature, they never learnt the lesson and continued to harass everything for their own comfort and pleasure.

They joined hands with these extraterrestrials in order to achieve newer technologies and helping each other but then eventually the greed overcame them and they started helping them to colonize not at all considering the consequences.

Suddenly, there was a commotion in the club. The patrol team entered the club and that was my cue to take my leave from here.

I tightened my hold on my backpack and jumped off the cliff. I slid down the soil at a fast pace, avoiding all the stones and hurdles till I entered the densely wooded area. There was the old darkness to accompany me to my journey to Nova.
