Chapter 3 - Chill out man

The hot water gushed down my back running soapy water down into my face. I tilted my head back to rinse the conditioner off of my face, the water rushed down my face in weird little streams. I turned to face the shower-head and turned the nozzle all the way off. I brushed my mop of wet hair away from my face. I pulled back the Gokemaine shower curtain and reached for the towel layered on the toilet lid. I threw it over my head and worked it down my sopping wet hair. I scooped my toothbrush and toothpaste off of the shelf in the shower, trading them for my clothes stacked above the toilet. I tossed my clothes closer to me on the sink and began drying off. "Ami hurry the fuck up."

"I am hurrying." I snatched my bra off of the floor. Trying to fix the back hooks into their holes so I could slip it on. I struggled my way through that, I slipped my underwear on with my skirt. I forced my sweatshirt to go on over my head, it fell down low to the middle of my thigh. I wrinkled my socks up to slip onto my feet. I adjusted the toe seam in anger, hobbling on one socked foot. I fumbled for the deodorant as Feri banged on the door again.

"I don't even have time to shower now, GET OUT." I shot the door a dirty look as I slipped the deodorant down my shirt, and back out. I adjusted my sweatshirt back to where it belonged. I pulled the towel back to my head, flipping my hair down, and twisting my towel around my hair. Some of my hair poking out at the end. I yanked the door open, snatching my phone off the counter, before switching the light off as I exited. Feri shoved past me, slamming the bathroom door behind him. I sped down the hall towards the stairs leading down to the store. My beat-up yellow all-stars waiting for me at the top of the stairs. I sat down hard onto the worn-out shaggy rug. It was baby puke green, and was losing hair faster than my grandpa. My dad came into the room, Bee giggling with a little plastic phone in her hands. She had changed out of her jammies and into a pair of overalls. She had a light blue fluffy sweater underneath. My dad greeted me with a nod. She held her phone to my dad's mouth and he awkwardly responded with a question.

"Hello? Yeah okay, it's for you Bee." She slammed the phone against her face repeating her garbled gibberish again.

"Dad, you want me to put Bee in the car?" I asked as I tied the last knot on my shoes.

"That would be great, let me go get your brother." I stood up as he rearranged himself to safely hand her to me. I gladly took her and opened the baby gate, I stormed down the stairs my footsteps thudded down into the offside of the store, I had to unlock the gate at the end of the caged stairs. I turned and closed the cage gate back, and dodged my way out of the little misc. store we owned. The cold made me hiss, I should have forgotten my planned outfits and just worn pants. My phone was in my grip, so it was beyond awkward trying to pull open the car door. I managed to get her into her little car seat, I put my phone in her lap, she was still on a phone call.

"Business call Bee?" I asked her as I strapped her in.

"It Daddy," she frowned at the phone and tossed it across the back seat.

"That's mean Bee, Daddy doesn't throw his phone at you." She was laughing at her tickle me zello she had with her. I rolled my eyes and swiped my hairbrush from the floorboard. I closed her door and slid into the open passenger seat. I unwrapped my hair, swinging it this way and that to brush it. The back door opened and I heard Feri slide into his side music lightly playing. I glanced at him as he clicked his seatbelt in, I nodded at him and turned back around to finish the last of my hair. Dad slid into his seat, slamming his door before starting the old red truck. The stereo came on, playing some 'spooky' Halloween music.

"Who's ready to go?" He got 'Not me's' and a loud blur of words from Bee. "Alrighty then." We pulled out onto the street, ready to suffer our school days yet again.
