Why didn't I think about the consequences of telling Hestia about me being able to earn falna as a god? I mean how I should know that gods in this world were so curious that I almost got forced to confess my secret to her insistences.
Thankfully for both of us, I managed to calm her curiosity by telling her that it has something to do with me being a God that doesn't come from heaven or whatever place the gods in this world descend from. I also told her tiny bits of information about Nehekhara and how it was cursed land by the first god, you know, the usual bullshit, and thanks to that I managed to survive without being mind raped?!
After that short, but scary part of my life, I talked with Hestia about Bella and after a lot of promises, I managed to get Hestia to accept my request of taking Bella into the dungeon and train her a little, at least until she could survive on her own in the first 20 floors, as for me? Who knows how deep I could go before I would encounter a monster strong enough to fight me on equal grounds.
Leaving the Church, I took Bella and we quickly made our way towards the guild. At first, I was confused about Bella's decision, but after she told me that she and her advisor decided to talk before she would go into the dungeon, I decided to humor her and go with her.
When we entered the building, all of the adventurers turned their heads and looked at us, scaring the poor girl that was close to me.
"Oi, fuckheads don't you have something to do other than scaring my friend? "
As soon as they heard my words, all of the adventurers that were glaring at me turned their heads away and I could feel their fear radiating from their bodies. I love being a broken monster.
Soon after that episode, Rose and another guild member greeted us. While it didn't take a genius to understand who the other woman was, I still decided to ask.
"Hello Rose, may I know who your friend is?"
"Good morning, Yoshida-san. This is my coworker, Eina Tulle and at the same time she's Bella's advisor."
"I see, well then, it's good to meet you, Miss Tulle."
"Likewise, Yoshida-sama, Ouranos-sama informed us about you and seeing how Rose had become your advisor, I hope that you will continue to have a good relationship with the guild. Also, please refrain from ending up in conflict with various families, after all, we don't want a familia to disappear overnight."
"Roger, roger, mam!"
Hearing my words, both Rose and Eina showed a smile while poor Bella was confused. After that, I had to basically watch a mother lecturing her daughter on what to do and what to do not do inside the dungeon. At the same time, my lovely advisor was, from time to time, adding some pieces of information that would help us, or more exactly me, at least for now as I would be surely going deeper inside the dungeon while I will most likely let a shadow clone and a few tomb guard to take care of Bella in case some dumb adventurers or some unlucky monsters decide to bother her while she's getting stronger at her own pace.
Eina's lecture took one hour of my life, but thanks to that I learned quite a lot about the monster that appears on the first twenty floors and while these monsters won't be able to scratch me, and to be honest I don't like the chances of the first boss monster against me, after all, he's fighting against a literal army.
The first thing that we did after we left the guild, was to buy enough supplies for a few days because of how to know how the dungeon will react if an anomaly venture forth.
Thankfully nothing strange or dangerous happened when we entered, but I could feel how the dungeon was trying to assert my power level, which made me wonder if the whole thing was actually alive or it was some sort of construct like my monsters?
I should have asked Bella about her power before we ventured into the dungeon, but thankfully she wasn't a newbie, well not a complete one at least which to be honest worked in her favor seeing as I made a shadow clone on the fourth floor where she could learn how better fight and defend herself.
Leaving her with my shadow clone and twenty tomb guards, I decided to take a shortcut towards the lower level.
As to not injure or distract her, I walked quite a while before I used one of the new moves that I made last night [Skip-A-Floor]. Well, it wasn't really a skill, because it didn't require anything to use and it was just me jumping and then slamming into the floor with so much force that it will create a hole that will bring me to the floor below.
What I didn't expect was to go 60 floors without stopping and just when I thought that I will stop, something flew right past my head. If I would have been a normal adventurer, I would have most likely been dead or severely injured by that sneak attack.
While the whole floor was something akin to a huge ice cave, I could clearly see ice trees and as strange as it sounds, liquid ice that was flowing from a part of the wall into some sort of glacier lake.
Seeing how bizarre the place was, I decided to put this matter aside and looked at what almost hit me and as soon as picked the thing, I found an arrow. Well would you look at that, we have a vigilante in this ice hell.
A quick ghost scan made me realize that my enemy was clearly outnumbered like a million to one, but who knows these days. Now I could just summon my army to deal with the enemy, but something makes me believe that this enemy was really an enemy and it was like someone defending their home from an invader which to fair make perfect sense.
Raising my hands in the air, I decided to see if I could somehow communicate with these strange creatures, who knows what I could earn from befriending them?
After a few minutes, I saw two shadows stepping out of the dark side of the glacier, and to be honest, I didn't expect to meet something that resembled a Yeti and a handsome ice elf in the dungeon, and given how we meet, I'm one hundred percent sure that these are the so-called monsters of the dungeon.
When both the Yeti and the elf were five meters away from me, both of them stopped and I heard the elf saying something. Thankfully for both of us,[The Game] could translate most of the languages and that saved me from an embarrassing encounter with what I believe to be the first intelligent beings made by the dungeon.
"Why would a surface dweller venture so deep in this place ?"
Surface dweller, huh? It seems that I may not be the first one to come so far into the dungeon, but then again maybe they found something scary deeper and that's why the guild didn't make this information public.
"Greetings. My name is Yoshida Haru, Haru being my first name. I'm what the people call an adventurer, as for why I come this far…call it curiosity or maybe an adventure, pun intended."
"Greeting I presume, I am known as Alred Themys, chieftain of my people and hunter of the ice. What do I own the pleasure of meeting a surface dweller? You said that you seek an adventure, but those are only lies and know this, an ice elf can't be lied."
"Hear me out brother, I don't even know. The simplest answer is that I wanted to see how far I could go and the long answer is that I want to see what is at the end of the tunnel and what would happen if someone clears the whole dungeon. Maybe the whole place will collapse or maybe it will evolve and continue to go deeper and deeper."
"I see. Sorry for the sudden attack, but I thought you were sent here to hunt us, after all, we didn't accept the curse."
"Hold your horses, partner. We have some talking to do."
