Without wasting any more of my precious time, I drop the huge dragon head on the ground scarring shitless most of the people while at the same time making Ains crying. Ah, such a beautiful scene that heals my soul.
Looking at all of those scared people, I could only smile. If only seeing the head of a true monster scare them, then what would happen when the real thing appears? Maybe it will leave seeing them scared and pity them?
As if, even if by some dumb chances a dragon attacks the city, the gods wouldn't stay with their hands tied down and would most likely interfere if needed.
"Ahem, can I get my payment now?"
For a second or two the guild worker didn't move or said anything, but when I gently tapped him on the shoulder, he returned back to life and hurriedly made his way inside, most likely to contact the leader of the guild and at the same Ouranos. While I should have gone directly to Ouranos, rather than coming here, who wouldn't want free publicity for doing something like this? Gods would rush to meet me and give me countless benefits for being allies with them which to be fair would be a wonderful addition to my ever-growing fortune. At the same time, I was ready to take my beautiful girlfriends here in this world to give them a good power boost, unfortunately, I couldn't take anyone other than them to this world, at least not with my current power.
After one awkward hour of me staring at the different faces and their reactions of the adventurers that were there when I just dropped the head of that black dragon that I killed in the dungeon, the current boss of the guild and the only god the other gods are scared, has finally arrived to see how to solve my little show.
The head of the guild was an old fat elf, probably over 100 years. From what my ghosts have found about him, I could certainly say that he was an arrogant mortal that only respects the gods and sees everyone below him if they are mortals.
The old elf signaled me to follow them inside one of the private rooms.
"Barely a month old and already making troubles for me…Tell me, boy, why did you do it ?"
"Fame, power, or maybe entertainment?"
"I get it that you are, probably the most dangerous human-like existence that roams the lands for most of the monsters and adventurers, not to mention, the gods that didn't retain their powers when they come down here, but that doesn't mean that you could flex your muscles by killing one of the most hated creatures of our city."
"Don't worry, the dragon will respawn sooner or later. As for why I did it…Well, I wanted to see how far I could go before meeting a true challenge."
Ouranos just looked at me as if I was crazy or at least that's what his face was telling me. Turning my head towards the old elf, I could see that he wanted to say something but Ouranos presence was stopping him from saying anything improper.
So as a good man, I've decided to give him the green light to speak freely.
"You can speak freely Guild's head, after all, it would be considered rude to stop you from speaking your mind of such a matter."
"Thank you for your kind words, Yoshida-sama, but that doesn't mean that you could do anymore stunts like this one. I'm confident that after what you did today, many families would try to recruit you or at least befriend you which may or may not become a nuisance to your daily life or a danger to your close ones."
"Haha, please, there isn't a mortal or a god left alive that could pose a threat to me and if they even think about going after my loved ones, I'll transform this whole city into a crater with the dungeon in the middle."
"I see, well then, I would kindly ask you to not do that. You should remember that the guild will always support you and if someone really does go after your loved ones we will be the first ones to solve your problems."
"In that case, I will thank you and if you two don't have any more matters to discuss with me, I'll let myself out. See you later and don't die too early guild head. Also, send me the payment for the head to my home."
Without waiting for their responses, I teleported myself away from the guild hall to my home.
Seeing the young and mysterious god leave without a care, I could only shake my head. Youngsters these days, don't know how to respect the old gods.
"What do you think Royman? Did everything he said was true or did he lie?"
"To be honest with you Ouranos-sama, Yoshida-sama's words were most likely true and as much as I want to deny it, there isn't anyone that could rival him In terms of strength or even godly powers. Rose told me that he's quite an interesting person and he's quite a protective to his friends and family, at least that's what she felt spending her time with him."
"I see, we could only hope that my fellow gods won't be blinded by greed and try to do something stupid which would surely put the whole city in danger."
