They say that you don't remember anything that happens while unconscious or in a coma, but here I am, thinking about how long it has been from the moment I won the fight against that Greenskin. While the darkness and the silence were somehow making me feel at peace, I could still hear some of my undead talking, for example, some time ago I heard Orochimaru talking about how strange my body was and how quickly it was healing itself from the damage suffered and while I have to agree with him about my powers, I wasn't that comfortable with him so close to my undefended body, god knows what that snake could do with my body, or at least want to do, not that he can harm me in any way.
After an unknown amount of time, I managed to slowly gain control over my body. How do I know that? Well, I heard Athar and Orochimaru going crazy when I managed to move my fingers a little and every time I managed to move a part of my body or several at the same, I could hear them being happy.
By the time I finally managed to open my eyes, I was so exhausted that I could have slept instantly if not for the fear of going back into that dark space my mind was being kept.
"My king! Are you alright? You scared us when we found you in a near-death state, but it seems that the Gods were watching over you."
"Glad to finally get out of that place. How long I was out?"
"Almost a week my king. While you were unconscious, our troops fought day and night against the Greenskins horde, but the casualties kept pilling while our numbers were dwelling by the minute."
"How…bad it is, Athar?"
"420 Archers,69 gunners, Orochimaru's snake monstrosity, the Necrosphinx,1000 tomb guard and the tomb scorpion, that all that was left and even at this moment they are fighting to protect this place so that you will continue to live, my king."
"That's… that's worst than I thought. We had ten thousand tomb guards and 4000 archers plus the tomb swarms and the carrions. Wait, where are the mummies, Athar?"
"Thankfully, the mummies are still alive, at least a part of them. They sacrifice their life so that we can bring your body back to the fortress. Twenty-six of them died there and almost forty died defending the walls."
"That means only fifty-five mummies have remained alive. What about the bodyguard unit?"
"They disappeared once you went down. I don't know why or where did they go, I'm sorry, my king."
{Game? Any idea about what happened with my bodyguard unit?}
[They failed to protect their king thus they were destroyed, even if they were a part of your strength. I'm sorry host, but thankfully for you, you managed to kill the enemy leader thus earning a reward, that would compensate you]
[The End of a Legend(Greenskins Legend 2/5)
Defeat Grimgor Ironhide- 1/1
Reward: High-Queen Khalida Neferher as a Summoned Lord, 100 Sepulchral Stalkers, and a cursed elder Necroserpent as your mount.]
{Sweet, but [Game] I want to know more about the Queen, what those stalkers are and what is a cursed elder Necroserpent}
(A/N: Info dumps for those that aren't knowledgeable about the fantasy side of the Warhammer universe and a bit of lore alongside my bullshiting side of course.)
[High Queen Khalida Neferher, the Warrior-Queen of Lybaras, was highly respected across all the lands of Nehekhara and adored by her subjects. Her intelligence, temper, and bravery were as legendary as her beauty, as was her intense sense of honor and justice. Her reign was tragically short, cut down as she was in her prime. All of Nehekhara mourned her passing, for they knew she would have brought great glory to the empire. In her world she was brought back to life as a Tomb Queen (King) thus as an act of revenge any living invader that was living in her lands were killed.]
[Sepulchral Stalkers are massive, reanimated sentinels created by the ancient Nehekharans to delineate the borders of a king's realm. Over the centuries, they have been swallowed by the shifting sands of the desert, and they now lie hidden beneath the dunes. Sepulchral Stalkers are statues that have the body of a snake and the upper torso of a man. Atop the statues' curved spines sit inhuman skulls, inside which glow eerie, baleful lights. Lying beneath the surface of the desert, they wait for intruders to pass by before launching a devastating ambush. When the trap is sprung, several horrifying, snake-like forms burst from the ground to surround their prey. The Sepulchral Stalkers impale their foes on ornate staves before they even realize they are under attack. However, it is not for the skill with which they wield these weapons that Sepulchral Stalkers are so feared, for those who gaze into their eyes are turned into pillars of sand, standing as still as statues until a gust of wind blows them apart and scatters the grains into the desert. To literally look upon a Sepulchral is to look to your own death. Deadly constructs that were highly used by High Queen Khalida Neferher alongside the Necropolis Knights (same thing just melee)and her amazons mercenaries. The Sepulchral Stalkers are the best at sneak attacks having huge armor-piercing damage and their ability to hunt down large targets with ease(Bigger than a horse)]
[As for the Cursed Elder Necroserpent, it's a huge cobra snake-like body that was cursed by the gods to spread their curse by infusing the poison with the curse (High damage against blessed units/heroes/lords and their undead counterpart) upon the enemy of its master.A huge undead snake at the length of 10 meters, highly armored and especially dangerous for any infantry unit. This mount will grow stronger with its master]
{That's quite a lot to take in… a tragic story for a loved queen, a deadly assassin force that could rival a Mid-class alone and a cheat-like mount. I don't know what to say,[Game].not to mention that I have a Grimgor's body that I will definitely raise into a mummy or a tomb prince depending on which role will have him retaining his strength.}
After I learned all of those things I turned towards Athar and Orochimaru.
"I need your help, while I'm mostly healed my body can't really move normally, at least until I rest for a day or so, I want to go to the courtyard so that I can resummon my army and at the same time summon more reinforcements. We still have a lot of enemies to clear out before we could return to my world."
"As you wish, my king."
It was strange to be carried like a child on the shoulder, but I couldn't bring myself to say something, after all, they helped me a lot already.
The first thing that I did was to resummons my army and slowly the fights were won by my troops while the Greenskins were once again pushed back. Without wasting more time I summoned the Sepulchral Stalkers and the Cursed Elder Necroserpent. The Stalkers didn't even need to hear my command and as soon as they were summoned they greeted me by raising their weapons and immediately entering through the ground, most likely to move through the ground and hunt any Greenskin that survived. Meanwhile the Necroserpent looked at me and I could see its eyes made of green fire studying me, most likely to see if I was a worthy master.
After one long minute, the Necroserpent transformed its body, and in its place stood a tiny Necroserpent that was barely one meter long. He then proceeds to wrap himself around my left arm and I knew that I could call him at any time to help me.
I didn't know if summoning the High-Queen would be a good decision or not, but I had to bite the bullet and summon her, after all an Ultimate-Class being that could potentially become a Supreme-Class was a worthy ally to have, but that would happen only if she would accept me as her rightful king.
The first thing that happens when I summon her was a massive sand storm appearing in the place where she was supposed to be summoned, at the same time my generals and tomb guards surrounded me so that I won't get hurt, but what happened next wasn't something I or anyone would have expected to happen.
