'I have finally arrived!!!' The little girl thought, hiding behind a car in the parking lot.
There were cameras and security guards everywhere. The little girl sat on the ground and took out a laptop from her backpack and began typing. Rem stood next to her and watched.
'She's hacking??? I thought I learned how to hack when I was 12..?' Rem was slightly confused.
'I guess I was pretty smart when I was little. How did I suddenly lose my memories from when I was little? I could only remember the events from when I woke up at the age of eight to that day the monsters appeared. Before the age of eight and after that day when the portals appeared, I can't remember anything except for the last day I was alive. That day was the day I defeated the Demon King and ended up getting killed by that so-called god...' Rem kept thinking about how she lost her memories from before the age of eight but got interrupted by her younger self.
'I HAVE SUCCEEDED!!!' The little girl yelled in her head.
Rem was startled by her younger self's yelling. She looked at the little girl's laptop.
'How unexpected. She hacked every camera in the building in just a few minutes???' Rem was amazed.
The little girl got up, looked at both sides, and sneakily walked towards the back of the tallest building in the area.
'Isn't that my parent's company?' Rem wasn't too sure since the building looked newer than the one she saw from her past life but she was sure that it definitely was her parent's company by the humongous logo on the building.
The little girl entered the building using the back door. All the doors were already unlocked due to her hacking.
'I've memorized the layout of this building. According to my research from the past month, Mom, and Dad with a few other people working on the highest floor of this building. Taking the elevator would be easier but I don't want to be seen. I didn't disable the elevator since people would use the stairs if the elevator doesn't work. I'll be taking the stairs. I hope nobody is using the stairs...' The little girl thought, running up the stairs.
'Come to think of it, I can't use any magic or have any senses of a monster. I also can't speak with 002. Maybe it's because I'm looking at my memories.' Rem ran up the stairs, two steps at a time.
'This little girl sure has a lot of energy. Kids are normally energetic... I guess this is normal.' Rem thought.
The little girl and Rem had been running for around 10 minutes.
'Just how many floors are there in this building???' Rem wondered.
She thought about it for a bit, trying to remember how many floors there were in this building.
'Oh no... You've got to be kidding me! There are over 20 floors???' Rem knew there were at least 20 floors since her sister, who's not blood-related to her in any way, worked on the 20th floor.
The little girl suddenly stopped on the 21st floor.
'This is the highest floor. Now, I can finally figure out what my parents are working on!' The little girl thought happily, opening the door.
When she opened the door, both the little girl and Remw as shocked but at the same time, amazed. The whole 21st floor was filled with all kinds of machines Rem has never seen before. In the middle, there was a huge oval. Surrounding the oval were other machines and wires. On the tables were stones, chemical equipment, hammers, screws, tweezers, wires, and many more. Surrounding the portal were large stones and above it was something that looked like a claw machine grabber thing except it was way larger.
'So this was what my parents are working on!' The little girl skipped joyously towards the blue portal.
'Are those mana stones? What were my parents doing..?' Rem was feeling every emotion one could have right now.
'What does this lever do?' The little girl wondered.
She was thinking about pulling on the lever. The little girl's hand was now on the lever.
"Wait! Don't pull that!!!" Rem yelled, trying to stop the little girl but her hand went through her.
Rem couldn't do anything.
*BZZZTTTTT!!!
'What was that?' Rem looked around full of weariness.
On the large claw, a blue lightning-looking ball formed. The machines were making very loud, buzzing noises.
'What's happening???' Rem tried to keep calm.
After a few minutes, the metal that was shaped like an oval has something inside it.
'Is that a portal??!'
The inside of the oval had formed a blue, swirl. It looked similar to the portals Rem had seen before.
'Wow!!!' The little girl was curious about what was in front of her.
All of a sudden, the portal-looking machine began to suck in everything. Rem grabbed on the lever the girl was holding on to while the little girl was still holding onto the lever.
'Why is it... Trying to suck us in???' Rem was grabbing on the lever.
Rem, the little girl, and everything on the 21st floor were being sucked inside the portal. After holding on for a minute, the lever broke, and Rem and the little girl got sucked inside the portal.

The portal machine broke down.
