He rushed in, banging the door into the wall and drawing everyone's attention. Still not turning around when he heard footsteps behind him, he ducked inside a room as those behind him rushed in after him.
He grumbled quietly as he saw it was more of Lota's soldiers. Fortunately for him, though, Odessa rushing towards him was easier to reason with.
"If you were smart, you'd be trying to kill Gavin." He warned slowly, trying to find any sign of sense in the others.
"You had the mark." One hissed, and their gun moved slightly more towards themselves.
"He's on our side." Odessa hurried out, "He saved me himself."
He gulped, seeing them share a look. Dodging one was simple, but dodging four was a death wish. It felt like time dragged on before they answered.
