Just nodded weakly and stared blankly. Monna still didn't turn around. Kept playing with the pebbles which made her wonder how far she'd drowned at the bottom of the lake.
Monna then said.
"You don't have any work?" Monna asked suddenly. Neil then listened.
"Continue to follow me everywhere. What danger threatens me even when I'm inside the palace with the maids?"
She stopped playing and turned her head back to look at Neil. Neil seemed to be looking down a little.
"I'm sorry, Your Majesty. I'm just doing my job and ask for your understanding,"
Monna then rolled her eyes. And waited without interest. Meanwhile, Neil asked his curious question.
"Why are you still here? Shouldn't you be with the Crown Prince to meet the Emperor?"
Monna shook her head.
"The meeting has been postponed. And I can't go to the King's palace because Blehart has to go to Hulck to talk about something,"
Neil immediately spoke out.
