I looked at myself in the mirror before applying my concealer so that it looks like i actually got some sleep last night
Then i practice my fake smile, the one that everyone sees all the time i mean I'm a freakin walking Sunshine...well at least on the outside i am.
But before i tell you the story of my life let me introduce myself my name is Kira Marin I'm 16 years old. i am pretty average i have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes I'm kind of a nerd but not that much of one I'm taller than your your normal 16 year old girls but i guess that is what makes me special.
Oh and my life isn't all rainbow and sunshine although it may seem like it is
As soon as I'm done putting on my uniform and putting my hair up into a tight pony i make my way down stairs to get some breakfast
When i get downstairs theres no one there obviously except for penny (the lady that works for us)
My parents are probably still sleeping or gone to work
"Hi Penny"
I greet her with a genuine smile on my face this women is like a second mother to me
"Hi honey, your breakfast is ready it's there on the table"
She tells with a smile before continuing with her work
"Thanks a million"
What would i do without her
"Hello love"
My mum said walking into the kitchen and kissing me on the top of my head
Hey she's awake it's a miracle
"Hi mum"
I said giving her a small smile before i continued eating my breakfast
When i was finally done eating a grabbed my bag and lunch that
Penny made me and walked to the door
"Bye mum. Bye Penny"
I said greeting them before shutting the door behind me and walking to my parent's blue Mercedes Benz that was parked in the driveway.
With someone standing next to it.
"Hi David"
I said greeting the guy standing next to the car aka. our driver
And yes we have a driver but not to show of or anything we have one so that my parents don't have to drive me around because they always busy working
"Hi kira"
He said before we both got into the car

I say bye to David and start making my way into the big school building. I was taken by surprise when someone had pulled me into a tight hug . When the person let go of me I saw that it was one of my close friends Lola she had a big goofy smile on her face like always. She then broke the silence and said
"I missed you so much."
I looked down at her, not because she is short but because I am really tall.
"I missed you more"
I said with my own goofy smile
With that we both started
walking to the rest of the kids in our class.
We greeted everyone then I realised that there was a new boy in our class so i turn to one of my friends Sofia since she was the class gossip but not in a bad way she just new everything about everything
"who's that?"
I asked Pointing at the boy with blonde hair
She looked at me like I was stupid
"he's the new boy"
she replied in a slow tone as if I wouldn't understand it if she said it fast. I rolled my eyes at her
"nooooo hey"
I said sarcastically
she then started to Laugh as if what I said was the most funnest thing ever. When she realised that I was getting annoyed she stopped loughing and said
"I'm just messing with you, he's name is Luke he just moved here from New Orleans but no one knows why i guess his a mystery. "
I told you she would know. Lola came out of nowhere and said
"he's cute right?"
I was not sure if that was a question but I replied any way
" Yep definitely."
With that I started looking around and when I realised someone was missing I turned to Sofia and asked
"where's Kat?"
