A week passed and nothing happened. Giovanni and Georgina only talked about school affairs, nothing else. They keep avoiding each other as long as they can, though it's quite an awkward situation. Now, she's inside the Student Council Office doing some paper works. She wants to be alone, even for a short time to refresh her mind. The silence and comfortable atmosphere that the SC Office gives calm her.
A few minutes passed, and she heard someone knock on the door.
"Come in."
As the front door opened, she saw Giovanni with his stern gaze. She sits properly but looks away from him. He's not her responsibility anymore, but he still comes here.
"What's your concern?" She asked while scanning the paper.
"It's a personal concern. Let's talk somewhere, or here is fine?"
"Spill it out."
"It's been a week since our last serious talk. I thought you didn't change. But, as the day passed, I realized you changed throughout these years."
"So? What's your concern, then?" She asked in a bitter tone.
"We always left an ellipsis to our relationship. Shall we decide if we will have leave it with a question mark or end it with a period?" She flinched because of his words.
An awkward silence came. No one talked after what Giovanni said. She didn't know what he wanted to point out in those words. If they left it with an ellipsis, their relationship won't move forward and repeat everything all over again. If they chose question marks, it only left them asking many questions, and if they picked a period, it was the end. She clenches her fist just at the thought of it. There's no way she has already move-on. It still hurts. If those words came out from her mouth again, then it double kills for both of them. Giovanni realizes it. That's why he wants to end it with her own decision.
"Let's end it with a period." She said, looking at him with a straight face. "Stay away from me, don't talk to me again, and don't call me Wifey. Let's pretend we don't know each other. Let's not fool each other. I know I have hurt you. I'm doing this for our sake. There's no reason to continue anything anymore."
"Period? Then tell me one thing, did you regret you leave that day? Did you even love me?"
She chuckles. "Since the day I left, I forgot about you. I loved you, but it doesn't mean something now. Regret? Not once. I will repeat what I did, whatever happened. Did I answer your question?"
A big lie. Those words, everything is a lie. There's a tear about to fall from both eyes, but Georgina tries hard to hide it.
"There's no chance? If you ever say you regret everything, I'm ready to forget about what you did and start a new one, but you stick to your choice. Let's put a period here without a lingering feeling. It's fun to be with you. Ms. Alvarez." He smiles at her.
"Yeah. It's fun to be with you."
"From now on, I'll be myself. The man you didn't know. Thank you for your time." He leaves the room with those smiles on his lips.
Georgina's tears fall as soon as the door close. Her body trembles while sobbing, she tries not to make any sound, but it doesn't help. All emotion from those white lies hits her in reality. It happened again. She keeps all the pain inside her and blames herself for everything. It's a stupid act to hide all her weaknesses.

Another two days passed like a flash of light. Those two days, Georgina didn't go to school and excused herself. All she did was cry and cry every night. Now, all her paperwork piles up in front of her table. Both eyes look swollen and somnolent at the same time.
"Gina, what's with your look? Didn't you sleep? Are you still sick?" Joshua asked while arranging all the papers on her table.
"I-I couldn't sleep well, don't mind me. Anyway, there's no problem going on while I'm not around, right?"
"Ah... You know Gina, the transferee..." She flinches when Louie mumbles it.
"What is it?"
"He broke some rules, but we couldn't say anything. The only reason he has is he's a new student and didn't get familiar with the rules and regulations yet," Kathy explained.
"Anything else?"
"None so far."
She massages her temple and finishes all the paper works. No one tries to talk inside again rather finish all their work.
Amidst of silence inside the room, they heard a knock.
"Come in," Joshua said.
"M-Ms. President, there's a fight. The transferee and the student in Class 12-B are fighting at the back of our school building." A student from a lower grade said while catching her breath.
"What?" they all said in unison.
"Let's come with her before the teacher notices it."
Joshua and the rest follow the woman who notified them about the fight. A deep sigh escaped from her mouth while playing with the pen. She comes to school with a resolve not to meet Giovanni at any cost, but here she is. As a Student Council President, there's no way to avoid all these circumstances. After a few minutes of thinking about what she needs to do, her duty still comes first. She stands up and follows the rest at the back of the school building.
Many students were around the area when she came. She can hear the protest of an unfamiliar voice even from afar. Some students saw her walking toward them, so they let her pass. But in surprise, there are some students knocked out on the ground while Joshua is holding Giovanni, and Louie stops the other man who protests.
"It looks like you're having fun without me," she said, which made them look in her direction. "Bring those knock-out men to the clinic. The two of you come to the Student Council Office. Let's talk there. The rest go back to your room." She mandated.
"Tsk. Let's talk here. Why do we need to go somewhere if we can talk here?" Giovanni said while he removed Joshua's grip on his arm.
"Mr. Javier..." Joshua mumble.
Both Giovanni and Georgina stare at each other, but she chuckles.
"I received the news that you broke many rules here, and now a fight? Why did you fight this time?" She asked.
"Ms. President, he steals my girlfriend on purpose. It's not only me. But the other people present here." The other man protested.
"Is it true, Mr. Javier?"
"They come to me, and I welcome them. Is it my fault?"
"Well, it doesn't matter whose fault it is. You caused a scene and broke the rule. It's the biggest problem here. I'll talk to the guidance counselor about this matter and give you punishment according to how heavy your offense is. Until then, don't dare make a scene anymore, or else I'll suspend you. It's easy for me to request it."
She looks at them and gives a sign to Louie and Joshua to let them go. Other students go to their rooms while the rest help the other Student Council member to bring those men into the clinic.
"You suit your role, Ms. Alvarez," Giovanni whispered before he bumped into her on purpose.
"So, this is the new you? How unexpected it is, Mr. Javier." She said and turned her look to him.
"Who's the one who created the new me? Try to ask yourself once more."
Georgina clenched her fist while watching him walk away with those playful laughs. Joshua and Louie, who left here, look at each other as if asking what they just heard.
"Gina, did the two of you know each other? What are you talking about?" Joshua asked.
"It seems like you're fighting," Louie adds.
"Who knows? Let's go back. I need to do something."
They went back to the SC Office instead of asking her more questions. Both of them sense something is wrong. Since the transferee came to St. Luke High School, Georgina seems in a bit of an off mood and troubled. If she wants to open up or not, it's her choice alone.
Time flies so fast. Before they knew it, the class hours were already over. Giovanni didn't attend any class during the second half. Most of the teachers asked Georgina about his whereabouts because he's not attending their class for three straight days, but she couldn't answer them. Even she didn't know what was going on. Instead, Georgina told everyone that she talk to him about this matter as soon as possible, though she didn't know how.
"Gina, are you going to join us?" Maila asked her while fixing their things.
"I have something to do, maybe next time. Go ahead first."
"Okay. See you tomorrow." She watches Maila and Janna leave the room before she gets her bag and leave too.
Instead of heading to the main gate, she stops inside the girls' comfort room to fix herself first. Two women left when she came, but she didn't glance at them and went straight in front of the mirror. She got the pouch inside the bag where she compiled her make-up and was about to put a lipstick when she heard a noise at the last cubicle on the left side. She shrugged, trying to ignore it, but a moan came out. It's a short one, but she's not deaf. She puts the lipstick back to her pouch—walks straight in front of the cubicle where the noise resounds. This time, she can hear it loud and clear. Without a second thought, she knocks on the door.
"Open this, you bastard,"
"Hmm... S-stop. M-Ms. President is h-he—mph..."
"Should I force myself in, or the both of you will stop everything?" She asked again, but in a few seconds, the door opened.
She saw the nerd woman who knows as a top student in Class 12-B. Her uniform is wrinkled, her hair has gone messed up, and she's panting while fixing her glasses. Behind her is Giovanni Javier, who doesn't even get worried about what will going to happen. The necktie didn't tie properly, and his upper three buttons didn't button well. Based on their appearance, she didn't need to ask about the things that happened between them.
"M-Ms. President. T-this..."
"I hate overtime work, but I won't tolerate any more of this. Both of you should come with me. Let's talk about it." She said, turning her back to them.
The three of them head straight to the Student Council Office without breaking the silence.
