Lyrinx POV
It's morning now and I decided to go at the café, I should find a job now, I sighed at the thought of me working. When I arrived at the café I saw Sam at the counter.
"Hey, Sam." I call him.
"Yes, pink man?" He replied and I rolled my eyes.
"Do you know somewhere I can work?" I questioned him and he look at me wide eyes.
"You? Going to work?" He asked like something impossible happen.
"Yeah, why so surprised?" I asked.
"Well, because I know you, you would rather stay at your room than working." He answered and I pouted.
"It's time to change Sam, and I'm getting a bit bored." I replied.
"Well, yeah, I don't know somewhere you can work at but you can work here." He stated.
"How about requirements? and some interviews or something?" I asked and he shook his head.
"No need at that, I usually the one who's doing an interview and browsing the papers." He responded.
"But, why you?" I asked a little confused.
"Well, you see, Chris let me, he trusted me this café while he's not around." He explained and I nodded my head.
"So when will I start?" I asked.
"You can start now." He informed me.
"But how about my clothes?" I questioned again, he looked around and I guess he spot something, more like someone.
"Jayson, help Lyrinx to change his clothes and tell him what to do, okay?" He said to the guy and Jayson just nodded.
"Okay, this way Lyrinx." He said then guide me to the locker room and he gave me my uniform.
I changed into my uniform and got out from the locker room, when I spot Sam, I walk towards him, the café isn't that too much crowded.
"Sam, what do I do now?" I questioned.
"Go get some orders from the customers there." Sam said and pointed at the table at the back near the window.
"Okay." I said before walking towards to them.
"Hi, Good morning, may I take your orders?" I greeted them politely.
"Wow, you're hair is so cute." The little girl said, I chuckles.
"Yours too, What is your name?" I asked and I can't help it I just like kids so much.
"My name is Chelsea, what's yours?" She asked.
"I'm Lyrinx, your name is so cute just like you." I stated and she giggles, I was about to ask her about disney princesses when I heard someone cleared their throat. I looked at the man beside Chelsea and blushed.
"Sorry, what is your order?" I apologize.
"It's okay, anyways I want a cup of tea and my daughter a hot chocolate and some strawberry cake." He looked at the woman sitting across them. "What do you want wife?"
I looked at the woman and smile, she smiled back at me.
"You're good at kids." She said and I blushed.
"Anyways, I would like to have a coffee and a strawberry cake as well."
I wrote their orders on the small pad I have and tell them to wait for a bit and they thanked me. I went to the counter to give the orders to Sam.
"Here." I said then give the paper to him, he took it from me and give it to the guy and he said that it will be out for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes the orders came out and I gave it to the family and they thanked me again, then I went back at the counter.
"So? How was it?" Sam asked me.
"It's fun doing work, I met this little girl and she's so cute." I stated and he just laughed.
"You still haven't change, you still love kids." He replied and I smiled sweetly.
"Of course who wouldn't?" I said, who wouldn't love kids? they're adorable and cute.
"Oh right? Where is Chris? He doesn't come here for breakfast." I stated.
"Oh, why? you miss him?" Sam teased me then gave me a knowing smirk and I can't help but to blush.
"He's in America, probably doing work and he needs to talk to someone, he said." Sam stated still doing his work.
"Work? Doesn't he work here? And how many work does he have?" I asked confused.
"Well, of course he work here, but you know Meiresone's company have so many companies around the world, and the lunatic friends decided that it will be more easy to handle if they divided it, so Chris is the one who manage the company at the America." He explained to me and I nodded my head sign that I understand what he was saying.
"But you said he needs to talk to someone, who is it?" I asked.
"Why are you jealous? don't be." He stated and laughed, I glared at him.
"I'm not jealous, I'm just asking." I said then pout, I'm not really jealous, am I?
"Okay okay, he's going to talk with his ex, that's all he said, nothing more." Sam said, I kind of feel like someone pinch at my heart hearing that but I ignore it.
"Ohh okay." That's all that I said and went back to my work, I didn't feel like talking anymore.
Afternoon came and just like this morning I continue my work and doesn't said a word, well, except for greeting the costumers.
When Sam said that I can go home, I changed my uniform to my clothes and went to my home, my parents should be home now, I feel a little hungry and tired probably because I work. When I got home, I saw my parent's car.
"I'm home!" I shouted when I came in.
"At the kitchen sweetie!" My mom shouted back and I went to the kitchen, I saw my mom cooking.
"The food will be ready soon, call your dad, he's upstairs." Mom said.
"Dad!" I call my dad.
"Dad! Mom said the food will be ready come on we should eat now." I said when I went inside their room.
"Oh, I will be down at a minute, Rinx." He said and I just hummed and close the door then I went back downstairs, I take a seat and my mom put all the food on the table, my dad came down and take a seat as well my mom.
"So? How was your day son?" My dad asked while eating.
"It's kind of tired, I have work." I said, my parents stop eating and look at me surprised.
"What?" I asked, is that really surprising finding me having a work?
