Chapter 7 - Jeff the Killer

"J-Jeff?" Samantha said, stunned. You turned around, still clutching your nose, and saw a male with a white hoodie, medium length black hair, no eyelids, blue eyes, pale skin, and a cut smile. When he spoke, his voice was deep. "What did I tell you about bullying?" He said, taking a couple steps towards her, arms crossed. She looked down at her feet. "I-" She looked up, tears streaming down her face. "Y-you don't know what I have to go through at home, Jeff! They always think that they control my life, when this is mine, not theirs! They always think I'm nothing but a toy! I-I needed to relieve the stress somehow!" She said, her voice hinting anger.

He raised his voice. "Well it doesn't mean that you need to take it out on other people!" You rolled up your hoodie sleeves, wincing as you did so, to reveal deep scratches along your arms. "People. Always the same." He said, rolling his eyes. "Shut up, Sully." You heard someone say. You heard footsteps coming your way, and you turned around, seeing Liu. "Jeff? What's taking you so-" He looked at you. He noticed your bleeding nose and arms, and immediately rushed to your side and knelt beside you.

"Who did this to you?" You avoided his gaze. Jeff spoke up and said; "One of Samantha's so called friends."  "J-jeff-" "Don't 'Jeff' me, Samantha! Either you stop hanging out with them, or you stop!" He shouted.

While they argued, Liu took off his scarf and wrapped it around one of your arms, and took a tissue from his pocket, handing it to you. You took the tissue from him and held it up to your nose. "Can you stand?" You got up with the help of Liu, but when you took a step forward you gritted your teeth and winced. You put your arm around Liu's shoulder and leaned against him, limping. "Jeff, I'm taking them home."

"Why didn't you tell me you were being bullied?" Liu asked, placing bandages on your arms and leg. You winced. "I don't know if- ow- anyone would believe me. And I could do this myself, you know." "Why wouldn't anyone believe you?" "I already told the principle, but he said that there are cameras all over the school, and if I was being bullied, he would've seen." You said while looking anywhere but at Liu. "And what about your mom?" "I'm too afraid to worry her. She's already stressed about my dad, so I don't think it'd be a good idea to pressure her with more stress." "It'd be best if you-" "No."

He let out a frustrated sigh. "Is there anything else you're hiding from me?" Liu asked while closing the cabinets. "Not that I know of. But.. who is Jeff to you?" He seemed taken aback by the question. "He's my brother." "He's your what?! What else aren't you telling me!?" You shouted with wide eyes. "T-that could be saved for later." He said, grabbing your hand and pulling you up.

. . .

You sat down on your bed and pulled out your phone to look for texts.

"Liu, you need to-" Suddenly, the front door opened. "Liu, go!" You whisper shouted. He didn't hesitate to open up the window and jump out. You limped towards the window to see him in a tree. He gave you a thumbs up, and you shut the window and limped back towards the bed.

Liu jumped down from the tree once (Y/n) was out of sight. Why did you choose them? I can't believe you. They're weak, Liu. They'll only get in our wa- Shut it, Sully. Or is it your way? Fine. But once they get corrupted, you're choosing someone be- I said shut it!

Liu let out a frustrated sigh and walked towards his cabin. So, tell me. What's so interesting about them? You ask too many questions. I like them because they actually c a r e about others. Just like what 'Maybelle' would do if I hurt them. Now would you shut the fuck up? ...

Liu opened the door and stepped inside, flopping onto the couch. You're lucky that you don't live in that mansion anymore. What did I tell you about shutting up? Fine.

You laid down slowly and turned over, facing the wall. Ding! You checked your phone.

You smiled at the text.

Your smiled dropped. You turned off your phone and put it on the charger and got up, limping towards your backpack. You pulled out your chromebook and went to Classroom, opening up your assignments.
