His sudden fierceness scared Xiao Ling as she froze in her spot. Assistant Li looked at her and spoke softly towards her, "Miss Ling. Looks like my Boss is not in a good mood at the moment. Please don't take this to your heart. Why don't you leave now and let us meet later when we schedule the dinner that you mentioned? Okay?"
Xiao Ling turned her head from Assistant Li towards Zeng Yimo to find that the latter closed his eyes trying his best to control his emotions. Though she did not understand what had happened suddenly to him, she still knows that it is not the time to ask him anything about it.
Hence she nodded her head to Assistant Li's words and left the room.
Once she left, Assistant Li looked at his Boss as he slowly probed, "Boss, why did you behave like that with Miss Ling? You know you scared her. She is just an innocent student. How can she handle your anger?"
