Chapter 1 - Prologue

With a pair of hazy brown eyes, she glanced outside of a hospital window. Glancing at the sunny day outside, and comparing it to her skin that was once youthfully brown. Now, it seemed that wrinkles and time had allowed the shine to fade away, and she let out a sigh.

She glanced at the time on her phone, pointedly ignoring the hand with an IV attached. Once upon a time, she hadn't cared for vanity, but she assumed that age and the hospital had made her more aware, with little else to do but mope about and become picky with things, as there was little else to do. Just wait a few more moments before her nurse, Belladonna had come, a lovely Hispanic woman who usually talked to her on breaks. The older woman sighed, lips lifting slightly, the girl usually succeeded in lifting her spirits, so she'd left some things behind for her. She could only hope that the girl wouldn't be too sad, they were equally as alone in the world.

The girl made friends though, while the old woman hadn't had so much as one visit in the past year and a half. But she supposed it was her bitter countenance that had followed her for most of her life until this point. When Bella had moved her to the garden area, the two consisted of small talk.

"I'm happy to have you as my nurse, Bella." She said suddenly, and the young lady paused for a moment, startled, before breaking out in a large grin.

"I'm glad you're my patient, Miss Taylor, don't tell anyone but you're the most favorite part of my day!"

And the two laughed.

It was later that night, as she settled down to sleep that she felt much more tired than she ever had before. But, she smiled in off when Bella had asked. She had lived a nice eighty-six years, longer than some even dreamed of, and as she closed her eyes, she distantly thought of some regrets hidden away in her heart but shook them off. Life was fun while it lasted, and she would remember her accomplishments.

Several hours later, in a world unlike the original, eyes that shined an tyrion purple popped open as a wale echoed inside a nursery.
