Ryuji and Mako have been winning their battles for the last few hours without much difficulty. Everyone was very surprised to find that Ryuji the weakest ranked hunter in the school was easily winning his fights against opponents stronger than him.
The selection tournament is finishing up with all he students that have won going for their last matches to get a spot. Mako already got his spot earlier and is going to the tournament, all that is left is for Ryuji to make it on the roster.
Unfortunately for Ryuji, since he has been using his new ability almost every match he has been slowly getting more and more tired. It is taking a lot out of him. But also thanks to that he has grown the new skill

[ Allows you to take on the eyes of a dragon, making it seem as if time is slowing down to see the attack incoming. Takes a toll on the mind and can lead to extreme exhaustion, may cause emotions to be toned down after excessive use. Mana cost 100. ]
The problem with Ryuji using this ability so much is that his opponents have been seeing his changing eyes and are freaking out behind the scenes As everyone was trying to figure out what kind of power he was using that would change your eyes like that.
Naturally when they tried to ask him about it Ryuji would blow them off and act like he didn't know what they were talking about. Which only made them more curious about it.
Ryuji was just called up for the last fight as this one would decide if he made it on the list or not. So his fight was a very big deal for him.
Goes up to the stage and low and behold his last opponent fighting for the same spot he is, is one of the bullies that nearly killed him Ito. Apart of the three idiots club.
Ito was obviously very happy about this because it would give him a chance to beat on Ryuji in public which he could never get enough of, but the problem was that the three idiots didn't watch the fights that Ryuji was in and just calculated his wins up to good luck.
So unfortunately for Ito who has no idea what he is walking into right now it wont be easy for him. Even though Ryuji is stronger now he still has a very long way to go and also Ito is a B- rank and Ryuji is barely a D- rank.
Ito glared at Ryuji with an evil smirk on his face ready to show him who's boss whereas Ryuji just looked at him emotionless, eyes so cold that they could freeze hell over. Ryuji noticed that the longer he stayed in or used the [ Dragons Focus ] skill his emotions became much more stifled and toned down to how they used to be. Scaring him a bit as he did use this skill pretty much all day whenever he could, which means its been taking a toll on his emotions and mentality.
The referee looked at them both and asked for confirmation if they were ready to fight, full well knowing that they already were.
"Are you both ready."- Referee
"Oh Yeah, your gonna get stomped boy."- Ito
"Ready"- Ryuji
Ito doesn't waste anytime and charges straight toward Ryuji, swinging his sword at his chest. Ryuji dodges immediately and comes out of it unscathed barely.
Getting distance from Ito, Ryuji's eyes changed to those of a dragons and locked onto Ito. A cold chill ran down his spine as he was looking towards him it was if all the cells in his body were telling him to run away as fast as he can and not look back, unfortunately he was frozen in place due to fear.
Ryuji saw the fear in Ito's eyes but he did not care as he was one of the people who constantly bullied him and nearly killed him on that night that changed his life forever. He was not going to let him get away, and is going to hurt as much as possible till time runs out.
Still unable to move or close his eyes Ito didn't know what to do when Ryuji started walking up to him slowly. All of a sudden everyone in the audience was silent not knowing what was happening, the weakest person in the school made a very strong B-rank hunter freeze in place out of fear.
Ryuji walked up to his side and with his dagger he made a deep cut on his arm, then moved to the other side and cut his other arm. Ito felt unbearable pain but was still not able to move out of fear, when his pants started getting wet, he pissed himself in front of everyone.
Ryuji continued his assault cutting more of his arms, legs, chest, back no part was left untouched by his two daggers and soon Ito's entire body was covered in blood making quite the gory scene.
Everyone in the audience was shocked by the scene not only was a top B-rank hunter in the school frozen in fear, he was allowing hits to himself al over his body getting covered in wounds and blood, and even pissed his pants. No one knew what was going on. Even the referee was confused as to what was going on he didn't know if he should call the fight or let it continue.
As this was going on more and more cuts were appearing on Ito's body causing a much more gory scene. The people in the audience who were sitting behind Ito noticed that the back of his pants were also wet and not from blood as a foul smell was coming from him as well. Yes during this time he not only pissed himself but he also shit his pants.
All this happened within the first 4 minutes of the fight and now only a minute remained, with that Ryuji finished his assault and went to the other side of the mat, standing in front of Ito while his eyes looked at him. Finally he releases his bloodlust that he used to paralyze Ito.
Yes, Ryuji used the [Dragons blood lust]and had it directed fully at Ito so that no one else would be affected by it and it would look like Ito was a wimp. The [Dragons blood lust] was a derivative skill he learned from the [Dragons Focus] skill that he has been using for the past two days nearly non stop. But using it takes up almost all of his mana and puts a huge toll on the mind as it is still a fairly weak skill as it is now.
When he released his skill a loud ear piercing scream filled the entire arena as Ito was now able to move his mutilated body and feel the full brunt of the pain that Ryuji caused him.
"AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!"- Ito
And like that Ito fell to the ground screaming in pain until he passed out 30 seconds later. No one in the arena even knew what to do in this situation and the referee was still in a daze with hearing Ito's scream, seeing him on the floor past out the referee ends the match with Ryuji as the winner.
No one even said a word as Ryuji left the arena claiming one of the last spots on the roster for the tournament. When he was outside everyone started gossiping and spreading rumors to those who could not watch and everyone started calling Ryuji the Bloodied Demon on account of what he did to Ito and how Ryuji didn't even pat an eye at him at all, and just stared at him with his cold dead stare.
That day the Bloodied Demon of East University was born.
