The next day in his apartment, after he rested from training that went on for the whole day yesterday he decided to check his stats to see how much stronger he got.

He noticed that he grew a lot both strength and stamina went up by 25 and mana by 5 which is surprising because the only skill that he has that uses mana is Warrior cry. He didn't use it earlier because taunts don't work on golems. His agility and speed also grew a lot and now he is finally growing into his warrior class.
A Warrior class is meant for speed and strength to deliver a decisive blow without the enemy knowing. It is a lot like an assassin class but you don't focus on stealth, and you have more defense and more all around skills. The class is known as the "JOKER" because its hard to fight against an experienced high level Warrior class hunter. However there aren't that many that have the class so no one really knows to much about the class.
Ryuji is excited to be able to get stronger however he still has questions that he wants answers like what was that dragon? What did he mean by Gods?
He spent the rest of the day working out thinking that that would also raise his stats but unfortunately for him it didn't not even by 1. Which means that he has to go to dungeons and fight monsters in order to get stronger. This works out for him though because he can use the training dungeons that his father-in-law has a code with and the school also does dungeon raids about once a month so he can grow at a good pace.
Usually only licensed hunters can go in dungeons which they get after they have awakened and have gone through a valid hunter training school like the one Ryuji is going to now. They get one at their graduation.
That Week-
He went to school like nothing happened and didn't mention anything to Mako. He did better in the combat classes which surprised some people especially the bullies who used o be able to have their way with him, they still can just now he is a little bit stronger. Everyone just chopped it up to him having a better technique, only Mako knew that he seems to be actually getting stronger.
That still didn't raise his stats at all though, so he really does need to go into dungeons to grow.
He even started paying attention more in the Mana class which he used to just fall asleep in, though he still didn't understand a thing. ( Most likely because he used to fall asleep in class duh. )
Besides him paying attention in all his classes now and doing little better in his combat class the week was uneventful and boring.
This all led up to what he was waiting and most excited for and that was the class dungeon raid that would be happening on Friday- Sunday. Three days in a dungeon to clear a C-rank, it used to be a D- rank but the number one school in Japan for hunters which is their rival is doing a C- rank a few days before them so naturally they have to do the same as them to keep up.
( East Hunter's University 2nd best school in Japan the school Ryuji goes to. )
( West Hunter's University 1st best school in Japan their rivals school, his fiancé goes to this school.)
The two schools compete in dungeon raids, hunter combat competitions and all around academic performance.
The Dungeon raid competitions are two things how many dungeons a class clears and at which difficulty. The second part is during an annual event between the two schools, each school will send a raid team into the same dungeon at different times and then compete to see who can beat the boss first, pretty simple. However since it is inside a dungeon if you meet the other team inside you are allowed to fight each other you just have to refrain from mortally or severely wounding the other members, although accidents still happen.
The Hunter combat competitions are each hunter class Tank, Swordsman, Archer, Mage fight in a tournament to see who is the strongest among them. There are 4 different tournaments and 4 different winners, they don't fight the other classes one on one.
There are also team competitions where 2 or more people compete against another team in a designated area, forest, abandoned town, dungeon etc. The maximum number of members for a team is 10 ( standard raid party ) and the lowest is 2. They fight each other until the other team is completely eliminated (elimination match ) so it is best to have a team of 10 because you have a better chance of winning.
Friday-
Its the day of the class Dungeon raid everyone is excited and talking amongst themselves on how many monster they are gonna kill or if they use that new skill or spell some of them have been working on. However not all of them are happy in this day, Johnny and the two brothers are in a sour mood because no matter how much the wounded and beat up on Ryuji during this week to make sure that he wouldn't be able to make it was all for nothing. He would just come to school the next day like nothing happened and with no wounds on him which made them even more angry, they vowed in their hearts to make sure he gets seriously injured during this raid by an "unfortunate accident".
Johnny's dad is a famous S- rank hunter known for being ruthless during raids and losing party members that weren't in his circle every raid as well. Tons of articles and police investigations were done but since an S- rank hunter has the power of a small nation not much could be done anyways. Not many hunters want to work him unless they are just as vile as him, he created his own guild that mostly works in assassination's along with the occasional dungeon raid to keep up appearances so they don't get investigated ( Work in the grey leaning towards black area ) his guild has a fitting name called Reaper's.
No reputable and self respecting hunter of an level would join that guild nor would they ever try to work with him. They would avoid him at all costs.
Which is were Johnny got is huge ego and superiority complex from, he hates people weaker than him with a passion. This is why he always bullies and beats up on Ryuji the weakest of them all, going to the second best school in Japan infuriates him. The two brothers Enjo and Ito their dad is also a member of the Reaper's guild, makes them good friends.
Everyone got on the bus to take them to the location of the C- rank Dungeon, Mako was sitting next to Ryuji who had an uncertain look on his face.
"Hey man I know you were looking forward to this but you don't have to force yourself."- Mako
"It's good I need to get stronger anyways.... Just didn't think they would change the rank so suddenly."- Ryuji
"Yea well they want to keep up with West University.... You know I heard that the Moon Princess goes there and is number 1 in the whole school."- Mako
"Really I didn't know..."- Ryuji
"Yea not only is she the number 1 hunter but she is also the number 1 beauty in all of Japan some say even in all of Asia."- Mako
Mako sensing that Ryuji didn't want to talk anymore quietly closed his eyes to get some rest before they arrived.
Meanwhile Ryuji couldn't stop thinking about the upcoming raid and his fiancé who has the nickname moon princess now. He thought to himself ( So you got even more beautiful since I last saw you, no wonder father keeps getting marriage proposals from rich nobles and powerful hunter families.)
With that a silently muttered under his breath that no one could even hear.
"I need to get stronger..... for you."- Ryuji
