"No!" Layton exclaimed again, snapping his arm forward as if he wanted to prevent those people from walking over.
The men's bathroom door opened wide and inside of it appeared the usual row of bathrooms and sinks, clean and tidy as usual.
Before the men could say anything, Layton entered the bathroom, looking at the floor and squeezing his eyes, unable to believe there was not even a residue of blood.
Incredibly, both at that point and throughout the rest of the room, there were no signs of what had happened a few minutes earlier, nor was there any sign of Jennifer, who seemed to have disappeared into thin air.
"Hey! So? What happened? Why did you scream like that?" one of the men asked, entering the bathroom and addressing Layton, who, caught in terror that the three men were about to die instantly, had not heard as they called him.
