"Wow, you are still here," I raised it in the air and started to examine it under the reflection of the high up above light.
But the moment I took it out, I felt intense heat coming from it like it was on fire.
"Ouch!" In a reflex I let it drop on the ground before pressing over my hand. It was burning like it held a piece of fire just now.
But when I saw that piece of ruby, I couldn't help but forget all about my pain.
"What... is that?" That piece of harmless looking ruby started to shine in bright intense red light. It looked like it was having fire inside itself, like it was getting burnt from within.
But on close inspection I noticed something, it was pulsating! The light intensified and slowly receded before it rapidly intensified again.
And when I looked at that brown piece of jewel under the rock, it also did the same.
