I didn't feel any speck of fear right now, only anger. I couldn't believe there was such a shameless thief in this cave, one who waited all this long for me to cook the leg before taking it and running away.
As I kept running in the darkness, my eyes never stopped scanning the area around.
The branch I held in my hand wasn't emitting that much light. The deeper I went I started to hit the rocky ground and was almost about to fall over many times.
"Just wait... when I find you..." I gritted my teeth while standing off the ground. I just fell on the ground and felt deep pain in my knees, however I kept walking.
I couldn't give that thief any more moment to eat away my cooked meat.
"This..." I finally found something I recognized. The water kept falling off the ceiling one drop at a time. "I'll get to you soon," I filled my two palms with a few drops before drinking them in haste.
