"Say, Felix?" I looked over at Felix as our group walked towards where the closest village was.
"Hm?" Felix snapped out of his little daze and turned his head towards me.
"You mentioned back on Volcano Island how you had blood ties connected here. How's it feel seeing people from the area?"
Felix thought for a moment, "it's weird. I finally see what I've been searching for but I still have some unanswered questions."
I tilted my head, "like what?"
"Well for starters, we thought the residents of this floor had just disappeared but in actuality they ended up on this secluded island. My first question is how they got here. My second question is how did my family manage to avoid coming here?"
"Oh right. Alice mentioned how the original inhabitants of this floor suddenly vanished."
Felix's ears perked up when he heard Alice's name, "you two seemed close. What's your relationship with each other?"
"Friends, why?" I tilted my head, unsure of why he asked that question.
Felix let out a deep breath, "how'd you two even meet?"
"Well we ran into each other on the floor one of the tree when Steven and I were fighting a witch. She totally saved us and she just decided to stick around. Although I haven't told her yet, I really appreciate her sticking around. She's a good person and I'm happy to be fighting alongside her."
Felix seemed taken aback by my response, "to think someone of such high standing worked with a little group like yours."
Steven and I gave her a confused look, "you know of Alice's nobility?"
Felix gave the two of us a baffled look, "of course I do! It took a little while to make the connection but she's part of one of the most powerful families within the World Tree."
"She is?" I asked, tilting my head a little.
"You didn't know that?!" Felix's outburst caused Aoi's group to look back at us.
"Why would it matter if she was from a powerful family or not?" I looked back at Steven to see if he could give me some insight on why Felix bursted out like that.
Felix then looked over at Steven, "you wouldn't also happen to be from a noble family would you? Considering John here seems to be capable of making friends with anyone."
Steven shivered at the question, "no."
Felix and I raised an eyebrow at his reaction but ultimately shrugged it off.
Before we could continue our conversation, Aoi's group came to a stop which in turn caused my group to stop. Bea, Felix, Steven, and I all poked our heads around their group to see what the hold up was.
"Oh sweet we're here!" I shouted.
"Do you think your friends will be here?" Bea asked.
"I'm sure of it. Now as to which ones it'll be I've got zero idea." I shrugged.
