"I wish something interesting happened once and awhile, y'know? It gets boring just standing here all day." The skeleton said, letting out a yawn right after.
"Tell me about it." The other skeleton responded.
While the two skeletons talked with each other, I was hiding behind some boxes, waiting patiently for a chance to move further into the fort so I could find the necromancer.
The sound of multiple footsteps approaching caused the three of us to look over in that direction. Within seconds, a group of skeletons ran over and notified the two skeletons about a dog running rampant.
"Looks like word got out about Fang. At least it doesn't seem like they know I'm here yet." I whispered to myself.
"There's also been word that there's a human wearing a silver cloak running around." The skeleton in front added.
…
"As of right now though, we need all the help we can get to stop that dog. Now let's go!"
"Yes, sir!" All the skeletons shouted, running down the hallway towards Fang's location.
Well that certainly made things easier.
With the skeletons finally being gone, I jumped up from my hiding spot and continued searching for where the necromancer was until I reached a staircase leading upwards.
"I've checked everything here so that necromancer is probably somewhere up there." I said to myself, running up the staircase.
At the top of the stairs was a long corridor that led to a wooden door that stuck out like a sore thumb. Without a second thought, I charged towards the door and slammed my shoulder into it.
"Ow my shoulder!" I shouted, stepping back from the door.
"For the last time, Sixteen. It's a pull door." A voice from behind the door called out.
The door suddenly swung open, showing who the necromancer was. The person in question was a man who wore a purple cloak and had large bags under his eyes.
"You're not Sixteen!"
"Yes I am."
