"Find where that traitor is and kill him!"
I'm guessing one of the higher ups gave that command because almost every pirate in the room jumped up and began chasing after the man. He never told me his name but I had to put my trust in him so Emma and I could rescue John and the others.
"Talk about a distraction." Emma whispered.
For those wondering, the man had set off a couple of explosions in the room and taunted everyone who was now awake with a giant box of treasure he had stolen. It's clear his distraction worked well because everyone in the room was gone in less than five minutes.
"Let's not let this opportunity go to waste." I said, vaulting over the small wall and falling into the now empty dining room.
Unlike me, Emma used the stairs to enter the dining room. We both dashed towards the door that the man said John and the others were and bashed into it, causing it to slam open and reveal a long hallway.
"There's probably a key for everyone's cell. Maybe we should have gotten that first?" Emma suggested, struggling to keep up with my own speed.
I slowed down just a little, "I asked that man about that. He said that Metalbeard probably had it." She seemed content with the answer I gave her and just nodded her head as we continued to run through the hallway.
At long last, we had entered what looked to be a throne room with Metalbeard seated right in the center. Behind him was a cell holding containing John and the others.
"Intruders? How long has it been since I've last had someone make it this far? Has it really been that long since I was raided by Dai?" Metelbeard spoke to himself as he got up from his chair.
I unsheathed my new weapon and got into a defensive stance in case Metalbeard would try to strike first. His eyes suddenly focused on my weapon and his face begin to make a clearly obvious emotion.
"He's annoyed?!" Emma and I both shouted.
