"Behind this door is a man I can't even hit unless I use a spell similar to his. Now how exactly do I go about defeating that sort of thing?" I asked, standing right outside the room where Akari and Ichiro were.
I began brainstorming of ideas that could work but nothing seemed to be sticking. The simplest one was to just learn the spell but I doubt I could just do that.
"Got any ideas, Genki?" I asked, looking down at him.
"Do you know any spells that'll increase your speed?" Genki asked.
I looked down at Genki and gave him a curious look. Whatever he was planning had caught my interest and I wanted to hear more about it. Genki used his eyes to signal me to lean in. As I leaned in, he began explaining to me what I had to do. When he finished, I shifted back into a normal stance and grabbed onto Genki.
"You're plan. You're positive it'll work right?" I asked.
"Yes, as long as you have the right amount of speed." Genki responded.
I let out a deep breath and fired a laser at the roof, making a small opening for me to see the night sky. Thanks to how loud Ichiro and Akari's fight were, nobody managed to hear me. I put Genki in his sheathe and looked up at the night sky.
"Here goes nothing." I said, raising my right hand into the sky.
Magic rings appeared above my hand and I could just barely make out dark clouds appearing above me. Rain began falling from the large hole I made and I could faintly hear the sound of thunder. Without warning, a large lightning bolt struck my arm.
"It's been awhile since I've last used this spell. I almost forgot how it feels when activated. Alright let's finish this!" I yelled, colliding my open hand with my fist.
