"For the love of god, help me!" I said, sliding against the ground.
For the past ten minutes, I had been nothing more than a punching bag for this monster. All Alice did during that time was stand there in a dazed state, as if she couldn't believe was she was seeing.
While sliding back, I managed to stab Genki into the ground and fling myself at the monster. I clenched my hand into a fist and got ready to punch him right across the face. Right before my fist could hit the monster, I ended up getting slapped right across the face which sent me flying into a small rock.
"Well this is just great." I said, jumping to my feet.
I stared at the monster as he walked closer to me. As he got closer I noticed that my breath had become visible. I hadn't noticed until now that the room was getting colder. The water around the monster's feet suddenly froze and made him come to a complete stop.
"Forgive me, I was still recovering from my last previous fight." Alice said, letting out a deep breath.
Taking my chance, I ran over to Genki and quickly pulled him out of the ground. Still in motion, I continued to run towards the monster. I swung Genki at the monster but it managed to block my attack using its arm blades.
The sound of the ice cracking was enough to make me jump back. The monster broke free from the ice holding him down and looked over at Alice.
A cocky grin covered the monster's face as it taunted us. I could feel my blood boil in that moment. Even Alice looked pissed off at what the monster did.
"We'll turn you into fish sticks!" Alice and I both said, charging towards the monster.
The monster turned its body around and threw a kick right at me. A glass barrier protected me from the monster's attack. The monster staggered for a moment which gave us enough time to hit in on both sides.
"Alice, give me another good opening!" I yelled, jumping back.
"Not happening, I want to be the one who kills this monster!" Alice yelled, also jumping back.
A large dome of ice suddenly surrounded all three of us. Hundreds upon hundreds of magic rings began to appear around the monster. Despite the impressiveness of the spells Alice was using, I was not about to let her kill the monster first.
"Is that so? Then let's make it a competition." I said, dodging one of the monster's attacks.
The cockiness in the monster's eyes had now been replaced with complete fear. Even if the monster managed to dodge all of Alice's spell, it would then have to deal with me.
As soon as I moved my running direction towards the monster, Alice had begun firing her endless barrage of ice shards. Fire began to surround Genki as I positioned him for an attack.
"Flame Slash: Form Two."
"Snow Realm: Form Two."
Alice and I both said our spells at the same time which also happened to strike the monster at the same time. Thankfully, my aura was hot enough to melt all the ice shards before they could impale me. They did, however, hit me with scorching hot water.
