For the entire day we were tasked with completing training exercises. At first it started of simple by us just doing some push-ups but that then turned to us doing one hundred of them. Oh, and we weren't allowed to take a break or else we'd have to restart.
"Finally, I'm finished!" I said, using what was left of my energy to raise my fist into the air.
The old man applauded my accomplishment before going back into his usual stance. Soon after that, everyone else finished their workout.
"Great job! Now are you ready for your next objective?" The old man asked.
"We have another one?" Akio asked, slumped on the ground.
The man laughed at Akio's question for raising his hand and casting a spell on the four of us. It felt like five large boulders were on my back making it almost impossible to stand. Akio had created a small dent in the ground from the weight.
"Your next task is to walk over to the foot of the mountain. Once you complete that you're free to go for the day." The old man said, having a cocky smile on his face.
Two hours later we still weren't even halfway to the mountain yet.
"This was a terrible idea." Alice said, just barely keeping up with me.
"I didn't think we'd end up in a situation like this!" I said, trying to defend myself.
Alice gave me an annoyed look before moving her eyes back forwards. As we walked, a sudden idea just popped in my head.
"Ichiro?" I said, trying to get his attention.
"Yeah, what's up?" He answered.
"Why can't you just use your speed to just get us to the foot of the mountain?" I asked.
Everyone stopped and looked at Ichiro.
"Well yeah I can do that but then what's the point of even training?"
He made a good point.
