I was met with the bright blue sky when I opened my eyes. I picked myself up from the ground and began looking around. The man and Akari were standing behind me and had there backs to a large boulder.
"So are you going to tell me what just happened?" I asked.
I went to a dojo to watch fights and try to get a better understanding of fighting and now here I am in the middle of a forest. I didn't sign up for this. All I could do was let out an annoyed sigh and wait for one of them to answer.
"I've taken a liking to you, boy. So for the next three days I'll train you." The man said, stroking his beard.
I gave him a look of disbelief. If this was his kind of version of a joke then he really sucks at comedy. Also why three days? You'd think it take more than just a few days to improve at such a thing.
"That's cool and all but who the hell are you and why did you bring me into a forest?" I yelled.
Akari looked like she wanted to beat me to death because of what I just said. The only thing stopping her was the man who placed his arm in front of her.
"I'll tell you after your training is over." The man said.
Old Man it is then.
"Whatever, Old Man. I might as well get this over with so what do I need to do first?" I asked while stretching my arms.
The man gave me a giant grin before picking up the giant boulder behind him and aimed it at me.
"Ever heard of a game called Catch?"
The old man threw the giant rock at me without any consideration for my well-being. With how fast and big it was, there was no way I could dodge it. The word "catch" suddenly popped into my head.
"I don't like this idea but it's better than nothing." I said, planting my feet into the ground.
