The entire room has their eyes on him as he stood at the top of the stairs. He proceeded to take one step forward but tripped and fell down the stairs.
The entire room just stared blankly at Akio. I could hear Akio let out groan before picking himself off of the ground. His butlers all began running towards him and checked up on him.
"I'm fine, you don't need to worry about me." Akio said, trying to comfort the butlers.
Alice let out a sigh and shook her head, "Akio's still as clumsy as ever."
Alice began walking towards Akio while the butlers continued to worry over him. By the time Alice got there, Akio finally managed to convince the butlers that he was fine. He gave them all a smile before taking notice of Alice.
"Who is this girl?" A girl next to me asked.
"That's the daughter of the Yuki family. She apparently left home so she could travel around the tree." The man next to her answered.
A thought suddenly hit me, this was the first time I've ever heard Alice's last name. I put that thought aside and began listening in on Alice's conversation.
"Long time no see, Akio." Alice said, waving her hand.
Akio's face suddenly lit up with Joy as he walked up to Alice. As I watched the two of them have a conversation a man who seemed not much older than me walked up next to me and leaned on the table.
I turned away from Alice and looked at the man. His appearance reminded me of Alice in a lot of ways. Their hair and eyes were the same color and they both gave off the same type of vibes.
"I see you've been traveling with my little sister. I hope she hasn't caused you too much trouble." He said, taking a drink out of the glass he was holding.
With how similar the both of them looked it wasn't hard to believe what he just said. Though it still caught me by surprise because I didn't know she had any siblings.
"Your brother, Ichiro is here if you want to say hello." Akio told Alice.
I looked away from who I now knew was Ichiro and turned towards Alice. Akio noticed Ichiro and pointed towards him. Alice turned her head and saw the two of us together.
"What are you doing here, Ichiro?" Alice asked.
"Akio's an old friend, why wouldn't I come to his parties?" Ichiro responded quickly.
Despite everyone going back to their conversations, I could feel all their eyes on us. Well mostly Alice, Akio, and Ichiro. The three of them continued their conversation leaving me to feel outed. I let out a sigh and began to walk away but was stopped by Ichiro's voice.
"You're part of this conversation too, get back here." He said.
