The building rivaled the size of my home village. It looked to be around five stories high. My jaw nearly dropped at the sight of it. As we got closer to our destination I got a little worried about what awaited us on the inside of the manor.
We were now at the front doors to the building. Two butlers were standing outside and looked at us for a moment. They then looked back at Morgan and let out a small sigh.
"I'm guessing these kids will be attending in your place? Eventually you won't be able to do this anymore and they'll just stop inviting you in general." One of the butlers said.
"You say that as if I want to attend these things. I'll go to the next one, I promise." Morgan said with a cheeky smile.
The two butlers looked at each other and let out another sigh. They shrugged and opened the door for us to enter.
The manor on the inside was a lot brighter than I expected. Chandeliers looked over us as we walked down a long hallway with paintings located on each side. We went up a flight of stairs and ended up in front of a door with two more butlers.
"That's as far as I'm going. See you guys soon!" Morgan said, walking away from us and leaving the building.
"I'm guessing you kids are going in Sir Morgan's place? That would definitely explain why the other two butlers let you in." The butler to the right said.
The butlers opened the door the reveal another room with a large amount of people in it. All of the people in there were wearing clothes that you would usually see people of high class wearing. Music was playing in the background and in the middle of the room were a bunch of people dancing with each other.
"I feel really out of place here." I said, putting my hands behind my head.
Alice and Serene both looked at me for a moment before returning their attention to the room. Serene began to walk off into the crowd for reasons unknown and left me and Alice alone.
"I never liked attending these things. I didn't necessarily hate going but I did find them a waste of time." Alice said suddenly.
"Can't really blame you. These parties seem extremely dull. Then again, I never got to experience anything like this before." I said.
Before we could continue our conversation a girl passed by us that seemed awfully familiar. I tried to find her again but couldn't locate her. I let out a small sigh and walked towards the balcony, leaving Alice alone.
I put my hands on top of the small fence and let out a deep breath. I could hear the sound of footsteps behind me so I turned my head to see who it was. It was the guy I saw earlier in the alleyway when I was with Ashe.
