"Hopefully I can hold you off long enough until the boss comes back. But when she does you'll all be royally screwed." The girl said.
Before I could ask who she was talking about the girl started running at me and threw a couple of knives at me. I quickly jumped out of the way and removed my blade.
As I prepared to go on the offensive Jaeger fell right in front of me. I turned around to see what launched Jaeger this far and saw a male with a black uniform holding onto a rapier. I turned back to face the girl with the knives and saw that she had a smile on her face.
"Thanks for holding them off long enough Nia, I really appreciate it." The man said, smiling at the girl. The man kept walking closer and closer to us, not showing any signs of fear.
"Hey Ashe, go deal with Nia. I'll take on this guy with Steven." I said. Ashe nodded and readied himself for the fight we were about to have.
I began running at the man and noticed how he seemed to be my age. I brushed it off and kept running at him. Before I could get close enough to land a hit I felt a sharp pain in my stomach causing me to spit out blood and fall onto my knees. I turned my head to see if Steven was ok but saw that he was laying on the ground motionless.
"That's surprising. You're the first person who wasn't instantly knocked out by my move. You're a sturdy one aren't you? I think I'm going to have a fun time toying with you. I might as well tell you my name while we're at it, I am Bahn." The kid said.
I wiped my mouth and glared at Bahn before picking myself back up from the ground. Bahn have off a cocky smile and began taunting me. I closed my eyes and let out a deep breath. When I reopened my eyes I gave Bahn a death stare.
"I'll wipe that cocky look right off your face." I said, walking towards him. Bahn seemed amused by me approaching him and began to laugh. 'This dude really pisses me off.' I thought.
I swung my blade at Bahn but he quickly moved out of the way and jabbed me in the side with his hand. Bahn hadn't even removed his rapier from its sheath yet which annoyed me.
"Guess I'll have to force you to use your weapon," I sighed, "looks like I'll have to use some of my magic. Magic Slash!" I yelled, swinging my sword at Bahn.
"So you know some magic as well, impressive. But it's not even close enough to beat me." Bahn said.
Bahn removed his rapier from its sheath and completely shattered my sword. Before I could react to my sword breaking, Bahn kicked me towards where Ashe and Nia were fighting.
"That kid's... really overpowered."
