Lightning's POV
I was walking through the forest, with Diamond of course. "umm... sorry about yesterday Jewels" I say as we walked, paw in paw. "it's... really not ok... as much as i love you, what happened isn't right" she said and looked away from me. i release her paw and continue walking, my ears had fallen against my head. "i know... i shouldn't have gotten so mad, because i know you can defend yourself... but the second i saw blood on your face, i snapped..." i say with a soft whimper "i just wanted to protect you, because i wasn't able to protect my dad" i say as a few tears fall from my face as i slowed down, eventually coming to a complete stop. "i was to weak to protect my own father, and i don't want you to die because of my jealous ex" i say as more tears fall. "please forgive me..." i say with a frown, thinking she wouldn't. "of course i forgive you" she said, tackling me to the ground in a hug. I smile and wrap my arms tightly around her before getting up and dusting myself off. I smile as she hopped on my back as she wrapped her arms around me, her paws hitting my wound. making me yelp in pain "OH MY ARCEUS, i'm so so so sorry, i forgot about your wound" she said with a whimper. i wince in pain as i rubbed my stomach as the pain subsided "it's fine" i say with a wince. "well... where are we even going?" she asked as i walked "i wanted to show you something, the place i first discovered how strong i really could be. this was before Thunder Scythe, before Teravolt Havoc, before you, before Sparkles. and it's when i decided i'd try my hardest to keep my strength hidden" *i say as i pull her into the forest. as i walk i feel someone watching me, i stay on high alert as i look around us, seeing nothing. eventually we come across a clearing. a huge boulder in the middle of it, but the boulder was cracked into four. "i broke this, with a single punch. of course i broke my paw after it" i say with a laugh as i hear a rustle in the leaves. i then spot some bright red eyes in the pitch black shadows. "Diamond...?" i say as i drew my Scythe, "yes Lightning?" she replied. "hide" I say as the glowing eyes disappear. She whimpered and hid behind me. i curse out loud, There's no place to hide, Arceus damnit i think to myself as i summon a box of electricity around her. I then stay on high alert as a bush rustles behind me. instinctively i turn around. and...
???'s POV
I finish fighting another Pokemon and cross his name off my list as i walk away. Decker has been beaten, whoooooooos next on the list... Blade the Leafeon? hmm... who knows where he is... Phoenix the Flareon? nah, he's off killing escapees... Amp the Jolteon perhaps? no, she's off fighting in a war probably... Suriv? he's easy to find, just follow the trail of dead plants.. but that'll risk me catching the Corruption, or even worse... the Anti-Corruption i shiver to myself as i continue walking maybeeeee... Proton? nah he's only interested in fighting Garchomps... Equa the Noivern? i mean i could, but he prefers to battle in his cave, and i can't beat him when i can't see... OH! why didn't i think of this SOONER?! i yell in my head as i swiftly dash towards Grotto Forest. As i ran, i spotted the Jolteon i was looking for, but he was with a female Glaceon. Oh great... now what do i do... i ask myself as i quietly followed them. Suddenly the Jolteon's ears twitch and he turns his head. i quickly hide behind a tree, then continue following them. Soon they're in a clearing, and i could see the Jolteon in perfect view. The infamous, legendary Lightning the Jolteon. I growl and study him. i then start moving towards them, but i make too much noise. The Jolteon's head instantly turns towards me, making eye contact with me. I curse silently and wait for him to turn his head away. i then dash away. Arceus Damnit, now he knows im here. it'll be much more difficult to beat him now i think to myself as i formulate a plan. I dash around to his backside. i then make some noise, before using Metal Claw and dashing into fight.
Lightning's POV
I block the first attack with my bare arm, then use my Scythe to push the enemy backwards. I then swiftly study the Pokemon. A female Lucario, man she's strong. i gotta be careful... strange... the attack landed... i think to myself looking at my arm, before up at the Lucario. "who are you an what do you want with me?" i ask with a growl, summoning another Scythe to my paw. "I'm Azeva, and what i want is none of your business" she said, before attacking with Metal Claw again. I can't take to many hits from her, my defence stats aren't high enough. Play defensive Lightning, wait for a moment to strike i think to myself as i block her attack. I then launch a Shadow Ball at the ground, which i use as a distraction, before disappearing from sight. I appear behind her, Scythe drawn. I'm about to attack, when a blinding light surrounds her. After the light faded, i realized she had Mega Evolve. i let out a groan of annoyance as i'm launched back against the boulder, making me cough out a large amount of blood. How is she so strong?! i've fought Mega Lucarios before, and she's at least double their strength I growl as i use Charge, before releasing a wicked powerful Thunderbolt. which cracked the boulder behind me. She simply countered the attack with Bone Rush. I grow and draw my Scythe and swiftly dash in, and landing a heavy blow to her side. She growled and used Counter, dealing a heavy amount of damage to me. i groan in pain, before using Thunderbolt to heal myself. "not like the other Pokemon you've battled right?" she asked with a grin. i roll my eyes and smirk, before gesturing for her to bring it on. She grins and uses Bone Rush again, two bones appearing in her paws. i grin and summon two Scythes. she then engages me in dual weapon combat. She's being aggressive, yet strategic... hmmmm... she's all about countering her opponent's attack. Her fourth move probably has high versatility, i have to prepare for that. I growl before continuing to deflect and block her attacks as i continue healing up. She smirk and stops using Bone Rush and switches to Metal Claw as i continue to attack relentlessly.
Azeva's POV
I continue using Metal Claw to both block his attacks and raise my attack power. I then smirk when i max out my attack. I the sweep my foot under him, he jumps up and i grab him, before throwing him in the air. I then leap up next to him "nighty night" i say, i then use High Jump Kick, which landed a critical hit. he's sent rocketing into the boulder. I hear a roar of agony, then nothing. "LIGHTNING!" the Glaceon screamed as she rushed to him, holding him in her arms. I land on the ground, returning to normal as i take out my notepad. i then cross Lightning's name off the list. "see ya later" I say as i dash away. As i'm dashing away i look at my list Now who's next...? let's seeeeeeeeeeeee... Bolt maybe? nah, he's off on fighting in a war with Amp, maybe Alex? or Ex? maybe even Kim the Flareon... hmmmmmmmmmm... Ooh, i wonder if his twin is around here i think to myself as i continue dashing. When suddenly i feel a sharp pain in the back of my head, then everything fades into darkness. When i wake up i find myself in some sort of base. my paws and legs are restrained and i can't move. My ears perk up and i hear footsteps "WHOEVER IS THERE, SHOW YOURSELF!" i yell into the darkness. Then, a Garchomp and a Arcanine come out from the shadows. "WHO ARE YOU?! AND WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH ME?!" i yell as i struggle against the restraints. "I am Arc, and this is Drake." the Arcanine said, "so, you're the famous Azeva. the Lucario who goes around trying to defeat the strongest Pokemon. cWe saw how you beat Lightning, and we'd like to recruit you" the Garchomp said. "recruit me? recruit me for what?" i ask, intrigued and confused. "we're recruiting you to our Organization. our mission is to conquer the world, killing anyone who get's in our way" the Arcanine said. I growl and shake my head. "i'll never join you. i'm not a Killer" I say with a growl, struggling against the restraints. the Arcanine clicks his tongue "that's a bummer, unfortunately... you don't have a choice" he said, clicking a button on a remote. Suddenly i start feeling strange, i started feeling like i wasn't in control of myself. Suddenly i hear myself say "what do you need me to do". NO! I HAVE TO KEEP FIGHTING! i yell in my head, but nothing happens. Soon im completely under their control. "when we give you orders, you will listen" Arc said. i nod and they release me. I stand up and follow them, waiting for orders.
Diamond's POV
I cry as i hug Lightning tightly, crying into his ruff as he remained lifeless. I put him on my back and bring him home. setting him on the bed. I was numb from the pain and sat there, staring at his dead body. Eventually i fall asleep from exhaustion. When i wake up, Lightning's body was gone and there was noise downstairs. I timidly walk downstairs and find Lightning making food. "oh, you're up... did i wake you?" he asked with a smile. i tackle him in a hug crying into his ruff. "i-i thought you were dead" I say through tears. He chuckles and hugs me back "i'm revived, it's ok" he said, getting up. "that's the first time i've lost a battle since i discovered how strong i could be, and i've gotten much stronger since that day... i did some research on her. apparently she's a famous Lucario, and she travels around the world, beating the strongest trainers and Pokemon... she's so strong, she was able to kill me with just two attack landing. grrrr... i need to get stronger" he said, with a frown. There was a knock on the door, Lightning opened it. Flare and Silver came in. "Lightning are you ok?" Flare asked. Lightning nodded "yup, completely fine" he said brushing it off. I snicker "apart from getting destroyed by a girl in a battle, he's completely fine" i say with a snicker. "*huff* whatever" Lightning said with a frown. Flare looked at me "who managed to beat him?" he asked. "some famous Lucario, she destroyed him" I say with a laugh. "oh, you mean Azeva. i'm not surprised she beat him, she's incredibly skilled in battle. She's not even that strong, she just knows the best weakpoints to hit, making her seem strong. plus, her moveset is three moves for countering opponents, then a dangerous hidden fang... High Jump Kick" he explains "plus she can Mega Evolve, making her stronger". "But she shouldn't have been able to beat Lightning, not with... whatever that thing is that makes him unkillable" Silver said, with a shiver, as she got lost in thought. "it's called a Rage Ability, and i named it Teravolt Havoc" He said, before going upstairs into my room. "well... see you tomorrow" Flare and Silver said as they left. i then went up to my room and layed in the bed next to Lightning. "it's ok that you lost, you're still the strongest in my eyes" i say and nuzzle his ruff as i comforted him. "but i still don't understand why my Rage Ability didn't activate. nor why my newfound absorption ability didn't work." he said with a soft growl. "it's ok, you'll get a second chance. anyway, goodnight Lightning" i say as i hug him. "goodnight Diamond, sweet dreams" he said as we fell asleep, with him still in my arms.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! im back XD. anyway, how's this for a KICK start? heh heh. I hope you enjoyed your hero, Lightning, getting destroyed in battle. Don't worry. he'll get some new abilities. which include some changes to his Blade Move, to make it more fitting to 'the Master of Electricity. as well as some changes to his moveset, and by correlation his stats. Also, the way the changes to his Blade move are written, it would work better if they (the Pokemon in this story) were anthro, so i might change it. and yes, you can tell me your opinion on the matter
