A man blocked Kaito's path. He has the same red hair as Kairi's, a handsome face and black eyes, he also wears glasses and his body is trained physically, he could also be one of the famous guys at the Academy. From what he is wearing, he is a Noble. Noble students wear a red uniform while commoners wear black ones.
"Hello" the Noble said with a friendly voice.
Kairi also accidentally saw the two of them. She was supposed to ask Kaito what he meant yesterday, so she was waiting near the hallway to their class. She hid in one of the empty rooms in the hallway.
"Is the rumors that I heard about you real?"
"Whether you believe it or not is up to you"
Kaito said as he passed the student.
"What an interesting person" the student said as he proceeded to the opposite direction Kaito was going. Kaito took a stop at one of the rooms at the hallway and opened the door.
"You know that eavesdropping at other's talk without consent is rude right?" Kaito said.
"I was just interested at what you two are talking about" Kairi replied.
"After classes, meet me usually at the Library"
Kaito then walked to class.
"Wait, why?"
Kaito only waved his hands as he continued on his way.
"Geez" Kairi then also went to class.

Time flew by quickly. Kaito left the class early as the Academy had called him. Many of the students who didn't believe the rumor now hesitated whether to challenge Kaito. Kairi then went on her way to the Library. Although she didn't know Kaito very long, she at least understands that he is not the type to leave people hanging when he called to meet them.
She then went on the usual enchanted table they took whenever they trained the Dark Magic. She thought of why would Kaito expose himself now. If he wants to garner fame, by showing his strength at the entrance exam or by fighting back the bullies, he could do that. He also had a chance earlier this morning. "What do you exactly mean by yesterday, why did you expose your strength?, how am I supposed to believe any of what you said?" Kairi asked.

"Then, answer the first one"
"I already told you before, I don't want you to get hurt like that again. Okay, my question, do you have any relatives or friends who works at the Magic Council?"
"I have"
"Can they be trusted?"
"One question at a time" Kairi responded.
Kaito stared at her. Kairi looked away from his gaze.
"Fine"
"Then, what do you mean by I should avoid Jessica?"
"She is dangerous in a way you don't know, now answer my question"
"My uncle is one of the few elders of the Magic Council, he also stayed with my family when I was a child before becoming an elder"
"Can he be trusted?"

Kairi then remembered that Kaito no longer has family, friends nor relatives. He also said that the Nobles were the cause of that.
"Do you plan to fight at the Holy Competition?"

"For Information" Kaito said as he stood up and left.
"Wait, were not done talking yet!"
"It's my turn to ask a question and you can't ask any, I'm taking this chance to leave" Kaito said as he wrote runes in the air.
"Where are you going?"
Kaito only waved his hands and suddenly vanished.
"He really pisses me off"
"But I wonder who's the someone he lost, she must be important to him"
