Marino walked back towards his office building with big strides as soon as he exited the cafe where he had agreed to catch up with Esme earlier.
The man's mind was filled with a lot of chaos. The past haunted him back, the old memories resurfaced out of nowhere. It was hard for him to pretend that everything was okay when in actuality it was not.
