When Velina said that what she brought with her was fried chicken, the hungry Fanny suddenly smiled broadly, and somehow, there was a sound like thunder coming from Fanny's stomach all of a sudden.

Velina frowned when she saw Fanny walking toward her hastily as if she hadn't eaten in three days and three nights.
"Haven't you had lunch yet? No way, am I right?" Velina asked while she checked on the time by looking at the black smartwatch band that wrapped around her left hand.
Fanny nodded and looked at her expectantly like a cute kitten.
"I don't even remember that I have not taken my lunch yet. I had too much work to do to finish the dresses we're going to bring for the Paris Fashion Week next week!" She answered helplessly as she opened the plastic bag and took out a box of fried chicken that smelled so good.
