After a luncheon with Fanny and brought her dress, Velina did not immediately went home.
However, she stopped briefly at Auto24, a showroom of the most famous luxury cars in Jet City.
Stepped out of her car, she immediately headed to the back of the showroom which contained various types of modified luxury cars.
Her gaze was fixed on a cool young man who was sitting inside one of the cars while playing his fingers swiftly on a laptop.
"Hey Mickey!" said Velina.
But the young man did not answer her.
She chuckled. Her left hand pulled out the earphones that were being used by Mickey.
The young man snagged and was shocked when a pair of earphones that he was wearing suddenly being pulled by someone.
None of the staff there dared to disturb him when he was busy fiddling with the car.
So, he was completely curious about the identity of the person who dared to pull out the earphones he was using.
His eyes widened when he saw Velina as if he had just seen a ghost. "Oh Shit!" he muttered.
God damn it! Was this lass Velina?
Really?!
Mickey was one of Marino's best friends, his family engaged in the automotive business.
In this Auto24 showroom, Mickey spent most of his time modifying luxury cars for resale.
"Hi, beautiful!" He greeted in surprise. "Are you on vacation?" He asked with a smile.
Velina rolled her eyes. "Nope. This time I plan to stay here. I don't know for how long, though!" she answered as she walked around, opened the car door next to Mickey who was sitting in the driver's seat.
"This car is good," she commented, looking around. There was a screen that was wide enough in the middle of the dashboard, displaying various types of information about that car.
It was a black Lamborghini Huracán car. The car had just been modified by Mickey, his new favorite baby.
"I want this one!" Velina answered without turning her head to Mickey, whose heart was bleeding, preparing to say goodbye to her new baby already.
"This car just arrived a week ago! You know, I've been waiting for this car for over a year!" Mickey replied irritably.
Velina looked at him with a look of disbelief. "Can I get the key now, or what?" She asked, ignored Mickey's sad look.
"You have the heart to me..." Mickey's face was sad.
"I just launched a mini-missile that is suitable to be installed in a car like this..."
"Deal!" Before Velina could finish her words, Mickey had cut them off first. Of course, the girl was stunned by Mickey's inconsistent attitude.
"But you had to promise to prioritize the sale to me first, not to anyone else!" He exclaimed, pointing seriously at Velina's face using his index finger.
Velina could only smile at the antique of her brother's best friend.

"Kriiiiiing... Kriiiiing"
A telephone rang disturbed Marino who was in a meeting with his board of directors.
Marino was the president director of Val Entertainment, which housed the talent agency and also the most prestigious production house in the country of Vanesia.
"Hello," he said coldly.
"I just met Velina. She kidnapped my baby. Do you think I should tell Daniel that she's back home?"
"You tell him about this now or in the next few hours, it won't make any difference. I'm in a meeting. You could just talk to your cars" Marino then turned off the phone and continued the meeting as nothing happened.
With hesitation, Mickey finally decided to call Daniel.
The man he called also immediately picked up the phone from him on the first ring.
"Guess who I met just now?"
"I'll hang up now if it's not importa..." the man answered coldly.
"Velina!" He cut it fast. He knew just by mentioning that one name, Daniel would give all his attention to him.
"Go on," he said.
"She just stopped by at my garage just now and bought a car. You know what that means?" He asked eagerly, trying to provoke Daniel's interest.
"She has a new car," he replied nonchalantly.
Mickey: "..."
Mickey cursed Daniel silently, maybe this was the reason why until now his friend was still single.
Was there a woman who wanted to be with someone who was as stiff as a dry chamois?
But, Daniel Garibaldi was indeed rich enough to attract the attention of any woman as he wanted even though he was as stiff as a stone.
"Daniel Garibaldi... I'll make sure you will regret it if you don't send me a blank check today! Hmmph!" Mickey immediately hung up the phone with so much annoyance, talking with the human chamois.
On the other end of the telephone, inside an office in a skyscraper tower on the 100th floor, a man stared out the window, watching the lively buzzing down there in jet City.
"Nana..." he murmured, took out his wallet, and stared at an old photo of two small children sitting together.
A young lass was smiling amusedly with two brides hairstyle looking at him wearing a baseball hat.
