After she paid the bill, Nadine, accompanied by Afriza, immediately walked towards the parking location where her car was.
Along the way, the two of them did not talk to each other. Afriza only walked beside her in silence.
Not long after, they reached the destination of that short walk.
"Afriza, thank you for escorting me to the car. Be careful on the road!" Nadine said, smiling sincerely at him.
"Eh? Are you sure you don't want me to escort you home?" Afriza asked, quite surprised.
Nadine shook her head firmly, "It's okay. Actually, the GPS of my car is being monitored by my family. Besides, the windows are all bulletproof. I must be fine driving home by myself," she added, to make it more convincing to believe.
"Ouch… How arrogant!" Afriza teased the girl, who immediately turned red.
"Whaaat…. That's not it!" Nadine scowled, afraid that Afriza would misunderstand her.
